Yeah me too, I thought for sure he was gonna be out atleast a couple days after getting removed yesterday.   I guess Gardy wants all hands on deck(atleast the guys we have on the team) in this all important series against the White Sox.

Yeah, that's not something to mess with. Kind of weird. Guess that's what happens when you're in contention with just 2 months left.

Who was the better former White Sox player?

B.

I like player A better I guess.  The shorter career makes the counting stats look impressive, and he could run the bases a little bit.

The OPS+ are closer together than you would expect given the other stats, so I am going to guess that Player A played in a more hitter friendly era or maybe Player B was traded to a less hitter friendly park and that is included in his statistics.  Given the similarity in OPS+, I am going to go with player B who had the longer career.  It's close though.

huge storms blew through here an hour ago.  moving fast toward detroit.  not sure if they'll get the whole game in without a delay.

I think the storms are actually expected to fall apart or turn away before they make it across.  Might not be much of a factor.

if they don't break up they will get here in maybe 2 hrs, so best not to get behind.

I always expect Candelario to be a bit of a lumbering oaf, but he’s faster and more agile than I always think he is.

During the Civil War they’d automatically amputate so it’s good medicine has progressed.
