Imagine being a Reds fan, your team spends some money in the offeason and makes some splashy additions to appear to be contenders for the first time in like 5 or 6 years then COVID hits and you got to wait 4 months for the season to start then it finally does and you lose your opening series to the worst team in the league.  That's gotta be frustrating.

reds might want to reconsider using lorenzen...

He's Matt Anderson II. Throws hard though. And hits. And runs. And fields.

Who knew though, that you could take your pitcher, already in the game, and use him to pitch run for your DH. Kudos to David Bell for doing his homework. I don't think Shep or Morris had a clue as to what was going on there.

Kudos to Morris for suggesting earlier on that Strop and Schoop may have been teammates on the O's a few years ago. Shep pulled a Mario on that one - dead aired it.

As a Tiger fan, I know too well that with higher expectations comes bigger disappointments.

Baltimore, where Jose Iglasias has batted third in all 3 games.

If this team can get any production out of more than 3-4 guys, then a 7-3 record the first 10 games is possible...which amazingly enough, puts a team in a decent spot for a playoff push in a 60 game season.

Currently Seattle is up on Houston in the 8th, if they hold onto win then that would mean no team in the AL is 3-0 and if the Diamondbacks win tonight that will mean that no team in the league finished the first weekend undefeated.   Not to get a single sweep out of 15 series seems like a pretty rare thing but I don't know maybe it happens more often than I think.
