Im trying to stay positive but Jim keeps trotting Boesch and Delmon out there hitting Delmon fifth everyday. And Fisters continued struggles are a kick in the gut.

Yeah I'm worried about Fister. Not so much because he may still be injured or that something is wrong with him but more to the fact that he just simply may not be nearly as good as we thought he was. We got extremely spoiled with how he pitched down the stretch for us and I think many of us(myself included) may have overrated him because of that but the fact is before that he was just a high 3's ERA pitcher while pitching in front of one of the best defenses in baseball and best home parks. Now high 3's low 4's ERA certainly isn't bad but in the current run scoring environment it's not that great, since the average starter has a 4.18 ERA this season. So that's barely above average and not close to the "Second Ace" or "1A" that we were touting him before the year. But with all this said it has only been a couple bad starts so I'm not gonna get too carried away but regardless I don't think we should expect him to be close to the pitcher he was last year for us. I think more realistically we're gonna be looking at a middle of the rotation starter who can have some great stretches but also some lousy games as well.

I don't know why but I always get annoyed when Mario has to say that it's a pitcher's first strikeout of the game when it happens after the first hitter they face. Thanks Captain Obvious. He does that all the time.

I wonder if Fielder missed third base? The way he reacted(his body language) was of a guy that missed 3B and was going back to touch third, but changed his mind and went home instead because he saw Young coming toward third. If any of that makes sense.......

I don't want to pick on Jackson because he has been a major bright spot this year, but he shouldn't have a choice whether to slide or not. When his teammate is telling him to slide, he needs to damn well do it. Leyland needs to get on his butt that.
