I realize that it won't happen, but I would be completely thrilled to see Boesch sent to Toledo upon Dirks' return. We'd be down to only one completely useless regular on the team (DY), with a couple of weak hitting spots from guys who can glove it (Worth/Santiago at 2B, Berry in RF). I could live with that, and I think our offense would be pretty decent too.

Well I guess it's a good thing that we didn't sign Francis, signed yesterday for a start today in Colorado. So far he's pitched only 3 innings and given up 9 hits and 6 runs.

What an awful decision by the scorer. Chalk it up to home field, keeping Votto's streak alive. It was a routine fly ball, Delmon ran around, then stood there like a moron, then had the ball hit his glove. Error.

That is probably one of the calls that will be reversed, if not in an inning, after MLB reviews it.

Didn't understand the desire for him. Those Colorado guys hit a wall around 28-29 years old and they're never the same after that.

After yesterday's game when Leyland chose not to load the bases at the end of the game, and now starting Delmon over Berry is astonishing. It seems like Leyland doesn't care anymore.
