And there goes the lead. Perhaps Boesch should have dove for that ball by Youkillis. Berry was right behind him.

That inning is a microcosim of the Tigers season. Their pitchers give up runs with two outs and their hitters can come up with the clutch two out hit. Hopefully they respond and get the lead back but this season is really starting to look like 2008 they just find ways to lose and instead of finding ways to win

I am really starting to wonder if Leyland may not be a good manager.
Sticking Danny Worth in the 2 hole with this team is just bizarre.Nice to see a civilized baseball crowd. No idiots behind homeplate waving zoo animal puppets and garishly colored flags.(quote from "Antrat")

That was about $330,000 per feet for Prince on that last one.

This team misses Victor Martinez last year Victor hit .394 with runners in scoring postion #1 in major league baseball. I just don't have a good feeling about this team ever turning it on this year. They will be yet another hype team that never lived up to the hype and simple was not that good

Baseball is a dumb game really. Princess kills a ball yesterday thats still in orbit. Today he swings like a madman at one that dribbles to the pitchers mound.

The Tigers better not be expecting to lose this game.
Just waiting for the expected loss is getting old.
Put a 5 spot on the board this next inning. Boston has to pitch to your clubbers as well.
I mean the Tigers were picked to win the World Series what is wrong with these sorry losers?Nice to see a civilized baseball crowd. No idiots behind homeplate waving zoo animal puppets and garishly colored flags.(quote from "Antrat")

The Tigers need to start getting some big hits from someone not named Cabrera. Peralta, Avila, Boesch and Young have to pick it up. With Fister going on the DL and Porcello being very much average the bats need to step up and bash a few wins to give this team a lift

Hate so say it but this team is dead. Three extremly weak AB's . Put another one in the L side of the leadger. I really feel bad for the good people of Michigan that have paid their hard earned $ on tickets to watch this team. They deserve much better than what they are getting from this group

Totally agree with this statement. This team just has sooo many holes to really compete. That inning is a microcosim of the Tigers season. Their pitchers give up runs with two outs and their hitters can come up with the clutch two out hit. Hopefully they respond and get the lead back but this season is really starting to look like 2008 they just find ways to lose and instead of finding ways to win

I'm officially in this camp as of right now.
"things are bad and other things need to change"
I'd be fine with letting anyone go as long as their name are not Verlander, Fister, Smyly, Avila, Cabrera, Fielder, Jackson, or.....that might be it. Dave. I like Dombrowski. I think he should stay.GO TIGERS

Avila thrown out trying to stretch a ball off the wall into a double. Of course it looks like he was safe.

Bill Welke misses another. You can send your complaints to his Boston home. He is a horrible umpire
