Anyone know the splits of Tigers record versus plus/minus .500 clubs? Seriously curious.

The Red Sox should be scared to face the Tigers in this ballpark.
If Verlander allows 4 runs in 4 innings here the Tigers should be putting up double digits every night.Nice to see a civilized baseball crowd. No idiots behind homeplate waving zoo animal puppets and garishly colored flags.(quote from "Antrat")

Is anybody else worried about not even winning one game this series? This team is really a mess right now and it is hard to ever feel good about our chances.

That was a bad looking swing for Avila there.

Avila looks like he is trying to pull everything this year. I thought he really turned the corner in September 2010 when he started hitting the ball up the middle and the other way more. That carried over to last season. But this year, his approach has regressed IMO.

Incredibly maddening watching this team play. It's so hard to watch a team that doesn't score runs.

I'm not really shocked that we can't do anything with Bard. We usually make guys like this look good.

It feels like the Tigers have already played a million games this year where a bad opposing pitcher puts a ton of guys on base and they end up scoring 1 or 2 runs. Really need to make Bard pay soon

I didn't see yesterday's 0-4 game but Cabrera looks locked in to me right now.

Nice, or he could swing at a pitch that's low and outside before it even breaks. Great at bat

If Bard is so mediocre, why can't Miggy take him?

These ESPN announcers are going to short out their equipment if they keep pleasuring themselves during the game when the Tigers fail.

If a pitcher is described as 'effectively wild' it's probably a good way to know the offense has had a terrible approach at the plate
