two out, pitcher getting pounded, bad hitter next with two out.....yeah he hit him on purpose in my opinion. and i thought his pitch stride looked suspicious to me.

Alex seems to be leading the team in getting bad call from the umps on balls and strikes. One of those called strikes was 6" outside

I was thinking the same thing, that high and outside pitch seems to be called a strike on him consistently for some reason

I really don't see any reason at all that a bad right handed pitcher would rather face Avila than Peralta

Sure, it depends on the subject. For example, I could go into a room at work and be the smartest person about baseball and the dumbest person about health insurance and lots of other topics. This. Max is widely regarded among the top pitchers on the team as far as baseball smarts. His problems are mechanical.

Look, Don Kelly is playing center field. That's where Austin Jackson plays. Since Austin bats leadoff, Leland has no choice but to bat Kelly first.

I mean, what did you want Leland to do, bat Peralta first? Then he would have to put Peralta in center field!
