Correia is terrible, just keep putting the ball in play and they'll get some runs soon enough

two out, pitcher getting pounded, bad hitter next with two out.....yeah he hit him on purpose in my opinion. and i thought his pitch stride looked suspicious to me.

Alex seems to be leading the team in getting bad call from the umps on balls and strikes. One of those called strikes was 6" outside

Raburn got a hanging slider right in the heart of the plate and fouled it off. A hitter on his game puts that pitch in the seats.

Raburn still has an option, correct? You have to wonder how much longer DD's patience is going to be.

Sure, it depends on the subject. For example, I could go into a room at work and be the smartest person about baseball and the dumbest person about health insurance and lots of other topics. However, I don't think Scherzer is both the smartest and dumbest person on the field when it comes to pitching. I happen to think he's smart about pitching. His teammates and manager have said the same. Getting his body to do what he tells it to do is another matter which I don't think has to do with intelligence.

"They can use both (old- and new-school statistics)," Cabrera said. "In 2012, we've got to take advantage of all that.

Look, Don Kelly is playing center field. That's where Austin Jackson plays. Since Austin bats leadoff, Leland has no choice but to bat Kelly first.
I mean, what did you want Leland to do, bat Peralta first? Then he would have to put Peralta in center field!
Now do you see how silly you're being?the above opinion is not respected by Deleterious

Well there's the difference, Scherzer makes one bad pitch and the worst hitting team in MLB hits a homer, Correia makes 10 of them and the Tigers do nothing
