For a pitcher, nothing shows a lack of understanding of pitching more than when a team scores a run and then the pitcher immediately gives it back. Both times the tigers have scored tonight the A's have scored two runs.

What the heck does that even mean? Is there some different way to get outs you're supposed to use after runs score?

Yeah, I think T&P is going overboard. Porcello has plenty of starts where he's well above-average. Most #3 and #4 starters would be #1s or #2s if they were more consistent, but being inconsistent doesn't make one useless.

As far as I'm concerned, he's only had one really bad start (vs. Texas). The rest have been acceptable/passable.

Why does Delmon "I swing at everything" Young continue to have a place on the Tigers roster? A DH who isn't hitting is worthless.

That last plate appearance really summed up Delmon as a hitter. He struck out on three pitches, two of which were out of the strike zone. He is painful to watch at the plate.

I like Porcello, but he has one pitch and can't strike anyone out, he's barely an MLB pitcher.

Lets be real here, what makes porcello good? Since his rookie year his best ERA is 4.72 and this year it is at 5 plus. He has gotten consistently worse through his young career. This year has not been good for him, a poor fifth stater at best right now.

I will be shocked if the Tigers beat Oakland tonight, Making pitcher Tommy M. look like a All Star pitcher, Fielder can't hit lefties, and yes why is Young and Rayburn batting ahead of Peralta. I paid for the Package might as well watch them lose again, will the tigers ever win 2 in a row. Is Prince with the money, NOOOOOOOOOOO

My bad I just edited my post, he is another slug gives up a run 5-2 looks like the way Tommy is pitching the Tigers will not win 2 in a row. No he just needed some at bats. Fielder is not the answer for the Tigers, we really really miss V. Mart. switch hitter that has a .320 average and drives in runs, very reliable. I guess our owner will not see a world series championship.

Inge has more homers than Fielder right now so I don't see how that can be true. Perhaps we should've let Inge be the everyday DH and fire Lloyd so that Brandon could become the next David Ortiz.
