The best/only chance of the Tigers scoring again is another solo blast. That's asking a lot of the offense, as three runs is a virtual offensive explosion for these guys. Combine that with the beer league-level defense, and it's no wonder the team is struggling.

Robertson would be a better closer, for sure.

The guy in the 7th/8th inning who is brought into the game to strand runners is more valuable than the closer, so it makes more sense to bring out your best RP in that situation, where the game is actually on the line.
