Not true, it was built so one could be added later if so desired.

I'm considering driving up to Oakland in May to see these boys play baseball.

We had better remember how to play the dang sport by that time.

I'd forgotten Rozema was up early enough to have played with Stanley and Hiller.

I'll see you there. I'm driving to Seattle to watch them for 3 games and then taking a train down to the Bay Area for the Oakland series. Decent little early season road trip for this kid.

It gets wacky around this place after a rain out.

What are the expectations for Porcello tonight? Many seem to think he will find a groove, I am in the camp that believes that he will struggle this year. He has a hard time getting a feel for pitching. He has abandoned the curve and throws the sinker too hard at times. He is still young, but he is a 4 year MLB vet now, at some point you have to figure it out.

If he does not go out and give us 6 strong ...less than or equal to 3 runs I will be dissapointed. A QS baby!

I think he will struggle, but I've been bearish on him for about 2 full years now.

EDIT: Come to think of it, bearish is probably the wrong word. I think he will not improve significantly, rather than get worse, which is what bearish implies.

That's why I was bummed out yesterday. I wanted to see if Below could be a SP. With Smyly pitching so well, Below could have been our new 5th starter. Send Porcello or Scherzer down to figure things out, IF Below pitched well. With Fister coming back next week, the Tigers may not need to start Below now. We have a day off on Thursday, so it looks like Porcello, Verlander,
Smyly, Scherzer and Fister as our rotation. Below to stay in long relief. If Porcello and/or Scherzer continues to struggle, I say give Below a shot.

I've always liked Porcello, but at this point his slider still sucks, his change still sucks, and his sinker isn't as consistent as it was 3 years ago.

Totally random, but if the CY YOUNG vote were today for the AL; Yu Darvish would likely win it. 4-0, 2.18 ERA. The guy seemingly is the real deal in the MLB thus far.
