I really believe Dirks should make the squad. Not only make that, but be a regular in LF. Kelly plays many positions and is passable at a few and Santiago can play SS, 2nd and 3rd. That leaves Inge and Raburn on the bubble. Raburn has never put an entire season together at the plate and his defense, at any position, is suspect. I guess I would like to see Ramon as our everyday 2nd baseman, Raburn and Kelly as a utility players. And Inge? I don't dislike him as many MTS fans do, he is what he is. Inge has given us all he has but it's time to let him go. Maybe keep him around to give Cabby a break at 3rd base on occasion? We have to pay him but I would not like see him taking up a roster spot over a more deserving player. One that can actually contribute.

'Cause it's Toronto. Lots of Canadian Tiger fans show up every year, too. Our flag is usually on the tall pole, but it's displayed on the right of the Canadian flag over the scoreboard when they play here. I like it. I even like their anthem. But, they're still really, really, cheap.

It was a pretty good game. Gave up some hits but were able to stop them. The good thing today was all the counts that they were working.

Quentin Berry was 2-2 with a triple (4 TB). The guy has good speed. Good for him.

Oh Canada is a great anthem and a lot easier to sing than the Star Spangled Banner.

Nothing wrong with Verlander. He was jamming people and was very impressive. As for Adam, while his stats look, he was hit hard and was lucky. At least three batters squared the ball up against him.

I knew the Verlander reference was sarcastic but I saw no mention of how Adam Wilk did. I just wanted to put out there that his boxscore looks alot better than he did. I don't remember Cabrera getting any chances at third but Danny Worth made the play of the day. He is playing SS and on a hit and run, he is going over to cover second and the batter hit a line drive behind him that he was able to get.

If I remember correctly he had one easy put out at third. But didn't make any throws across the field. Then the only error was Cast throwing quickly to try and make a play.
