Well, it's annoying that they lost right on the brink of clinching. But they'll clinch tomorrow or the next day. I just hope Cleveland wins now so the Tigers can finish it on the field.

I'm confused, have you not been watching baseball long or something? why do you keep saying "third place team" like it proves something. The A's are a major league baseball team with major league players. the division title will be "on the line" for every game until the end of the season. Usually saying something is "on the line" implies if they do not achieve their goal they have failed and will not get another opportunity. in this case the tigers have 12 more opportunities to do so, and that is not taking into account the other teams losing.

Your team just swept 4 series in absolute crunch time and you are complaining, unbelievable.
