If he was batting 9th, he may have hit that with runners on...

Does anyone on this team take pitches anymore?

EDIT: I'll just say this from now on.

Well, when you get two runners on and Peralta is on deck ... and Don Kelly is batting. That's bad.

Even with all the regulars out, Leyland still finds a way to put together a terrible lineup. Kelly should not be batting 6th. Its egregious.

Lets not over-analyze a line-up today. Good teams scrap out baseball games, that's what Tiger's need to do here.

Leyland probably agrees with this notion, but he is wrong, like always. Avila has had no problem moving up, and Peralta batted 6th for much of the 1st half of the season.

Don Kelly shouldn't even hit 6th in a triple A lineup.

I might be dim, but what is Jason Beck talking about here?

Would be a perfect time for Fister to go 7 strong and then hand it over to Benoit and Valverde.

Sounds like some Tigers players were laughing about Rodriguez running hard on an easy out, the obvious solution to this is to physically attack the opposing pitcher according to Joe Maddon

These last couple games we are swinging early in the count and getting outs. I understand that sometimes it works to swing early, but every tiger is doing it and its not working.

Edit: Just as I am typing..Tigers go down on 6 pitches. Last night Davis had innings of 10, 9 and 5 pitches. What the hell is Lloyd telling them?
