Bonderman needs to pitch a 1 hit shutout...or maybe not even a one hitter...he just needs to eat 8-9 innings lol

Judging from how long it took somebody else to post on here instead of the last thread, looks like people are still more excited by last night than tonight.

as ugly as last night was
it was a pretty nice win ;-)

Hopefully, Max St. Pierre will get the start at Catcher today, giving Avila and Laird a break. Laird is probably still wasted from jogging around the bases last night.

Bonderman vs Greinke; doesn't look good. but Greinke is beatable, and Kansas city's bullpen is bad. If Bonderman can give us 6ip 4 runs or less I like our chances.

Harvey Kuenn is a very important person in my life. Because it was he who was traded by the Tigers to get Rocky Colavito from the Indians.

Cabrera is out because of his bicep, but reporters are saying it is not serious.
When reporters covering the Tigers say it is not serious that means trouble, right?29 >> 30

Good lineup move. The Tigers won't score anyway so give new hitters for Greinke to ponder. Plus it helps keep Jacksons average above .300 though he can pinch run or hit later in the game in a key spot if needed. Same for Cabrera.
Nice to see a civilized baseball crowd. No idiots behind homeplate waving zoo animal puppets and garishly colored flags.(quote from "Antrat")

I predict a negative run scoring night for the Tigers.

Worst lineup Jim Leyland could possibly put together. Its like he picked names out of a hat.

taking Cabrera out of our lineup probably causes our team batting average to fall like 20 points.

Bert's picture brings a song to mind:

They went an' built a skyscraper seven stories high
About as high as a buildin' orta grow."

Kansas City's ball park is pretty nice. I was there in late May. It's worth going to if your in Kansas City, but I wouldn't drive 13 hours to just see the park like I did.

I can't help but laugh at that lineup.

We could see some progress on the march to history today with Greinke on the mound. 20 left to tie, 21 for sole possession. I'm not suggesting we count down or anything.
