Question...has Omar Infante pretty much sealed his spot in the lineup, or is he still comepting with Santiago and Neifi for the last spot?

Im pretty sure he's going north.

Nice to see the Reds again. Last season's home series comeback win was a big momentum event for the Tigers.

can you give the working link to press pass? I have been trying to go there every day and it says coming soon for the 2007 season, but, i haven't been able to make it work yet other than the sample. I've already paid for everything for the year, so, i don't think it's a $ issue. Please advise.
here's the only link I can find:

It appears that Infante will back up both Granderson and Inge, and possibly play some second base, if Leyland is willing to try him there again. Maybe we will even see Omar in LF a couple times this year?

Infante is on the roster. The last bench spot is probably between Neifi and Santiago. I read in the papers yesterday that Neifi appears in the lead.
Lets go Hollimon. That ought to be interesting.

Look for him at 2B (no exclamation marks)

Yeah. But from what I have read thats not because they think that he will be a 2B his whole career.

I don't always understand with Dlugach because he hasn't really produced with his bat at any point in his minor league career or college career for that matter. Perhaps he will break out at some point. But until he does I am a bit skeptical of him."I don't believe a manager ever won a pennant. Casey Stengel won all those pennants with the Yankees. I love it when someone is right about a prediction and then point it out every chance they get for the next year or so.

The back half of that lineup is suspect. Oh well. Odd seeing Inge at 6 as well.

Casey, Guillen, and Monroe must not have made the trip. Its interesting to see that Sheffield is getting his first time out in the field.

Possibly an innocent question but please just let it drop. We don't need to start bickering in the game thread.

Hopefully Thames will get some time at first. Haven't seen him there since Shelton started playing.

Yeah if you want to know send Yoda or I guess me a PM.... Its not a big deal so I just kind of ignored the situation and moved on. I am just looking to see what happens in the ST game and enjoy the season.

I can't blame him when (5) big-time posters of MotownSports called him names for days about his prediction. Perhaps you were one of the poster's calling him names?

Given we have Sheffield in LF and Infante at SS I am going to guess they didn't.
