  1. when he hit the ground the "process" was over. a stupid rule, but even considering the rule, the refs got it wrong.
  2. Has there been an ACORN thread yet? 21 states (caught so far) with ACORN-led voter fraud. 0bama a trainer and "community organizer" for this group. Lots there. But, you're smarter than everyone else that has more than you, and that's not fair. Vote socialism - it works on paper!
  3. Historical facts. What happens when "rich" people (employers) have their taxes raised? People lose jobs (lost tax revenue) Prices of goods/services go up It's so simple it's stupid. But, 0bama knows it works on the simple-minded who suffer from envy.
  4. When federal regulators began to warn the executives at Fannie and Freddie about the increasing risks of non-payment by subprime borrowers the companies did nothing and when the regulators took their concerns to congress their warnings were met with scorn and contempt. The politicians who received the most political contributions from Fannie and Freddie, by pure coincidence, just happened to be their biggest defenders: Chris Dodd (D-$133,900), John Kerry (D-$111,000) and Barack Obama (D-$105,189). Barack Obama has received more money from Fannie and Freddie than any other senator, with the exception of Senator Dodd, in the last four years. Before entering the senate, Obama filed a class-action lawsuit against Citibank, alleging that the bank was red-lining, or not doing enough lending in certain areas. That lawsuit was eventually settled. Arguably, Barack Obama helped cause the problem he now wants to fix. http://www.mediacircus.com/2008/10/where-did-obama-get-his-money/ http://www.commentarymagazine.com/blogs/index.php/rubin/30411
  5. Sad. The failures of Fannie/Freddie and the Dems (especially 0bama, Dodd and Frank) are well documented.
  6. Oh, I guess historical facts are nothing to learn from. I guess those "rich" business owners - you know the people that actually employ people - are just going to take the tax hit and not lay people off or raise taxes.
  7. We all know that the Dem policies didn't work - but yet some people still think Pelosi, 0bama and the like have economic solutions?!
  8. CNN (of all sources!) has a new video that shows how 0bama has lied about his relationship with Ayers. By the way, because you never heard of Ayers doesn't say much about the innocence of the man. And, he has never repented about "blowing things up is the way to express displeasure".
  9. Good point. I don't think it's silly at all. I know who is Ayers is, and he is a horrible person. Non-repenting. I think it's quite serious for a presidential candidate, that already has socialist leanings, to have such an acquaintance.
  10. I am. Will be in company suite. I'll probably be the only person at the Joe wearing a red "Ole Miss" cap. If anyone sees me say "hi"
  11. They didn't have the votes. Too many idiots (80% Dem/20% Rep). Aside, lenders were given penalties if they refused high-risk loans.
  12. If Michigananders are voting for 0bama they clearly don't care about cash-strapped and job-poor Michigan. Using class envy to tax "the rich" is going to continue to drive jobs out of Michigan like Granholm has been doing. Alas, I don't think your plan will work.
  13. "Failed Bush Policies" works with the ignorant. Everything is Bush's fault. It's hip to hate Bush. Truth is, about 80% of Dems and 20% of Republicans in Congress are to blame. Bad thing is that 0bama, Pelosi, Frank, etc. have no accountability and will continue to make things worse. 0bama has nothing positive to offer on the economy - more failed policies of Carter and socialism will make things worse.
  14. Obama didn’t answer the Israel question In other words ... if Iran attacks Israel, he wouldn’t commit US military forces to defend Israel.
  15. 0bma: "We have to anticipate and be more strategic. For the past 8 years we haven't been doing that, and that's made us more safe." ummmm...ok. just words.
