  1. I'm guessing AJ Hinch and Alex Cora will end up with "better" jobs, so I voted for Fredi. I'm not too keen on hiring a rookie manager, so hopefully they don't go that route.
  2. I actually never even finished it, and I'm not one to bail on a show I've started. I think I've seen all except the last season, which as I understand it is not a bad thing to have missed.
  3. I can't read this without assuming that you purposefully avoided using "master debater" by using solid, which to me is a sad, missed opportunity...
  4. I'll admit that the first thing I did when I saw that Trump has COVID was laugh, but I would much rather he be fine than for something serious to happen to him so close to the election. I can't imagine the uproar from conspiracy nuts if something happened to him in the coming weeks.
  5. Indeed. They played at a nearby bar/pizza place called Village Idiot, and I went with my brother. They host a lot of quirky acoustic shows.
  6. Team should issue a statement saying that if you booed, you shouldn't ever come back because the team does not want your support.
  7. Going to the bullpen with 0 out in the 3rd in the first game of a DH with JZ starting the second game. A winning formula for the day to be sure!
  8. If there's a better representation of the attitude of the majority of Americans, I haven't seen it... LOL!
  9. Here's the Timeline version of the list: https://www.techradar.com/how-to/how-to-watch-the-marvel-movies-in-order Here's how to watch the Marvel films in chronological order, starting with Captain America: The First Avengers and finishing with Spider-Man: Far From Home (for the time being, anyway). The reason to watch the Marvel movies in this order is you'll see crucial MCU events play out as they happened. You'll follow the Tesseract's journey from the '40s to the assembling of the The Avengers, and also enjoy era-specific details like Carol Danvers landing in Blockbuster Video in the '90s, and meeting a pre-eyepatch Nick Fury. This is the chronological viewing order of the Marvel movies: Captain America: The First Avenger (takes place during WWII) Captain Marvel (takes place in 1995) Iron Man (takes place in 2010) Iron Man 2 (takes place after Iron Man) The Incredible Hulk (time unspecified, pre-Avengers) Thor (takes place six months before Avengers) The Avengers (takes place in 2012) Iron Man 3 (takes place six months after The Avengers) Thor: Dark World (post-Avengers, pre-Ultron) Captain America: Winter Soldier (post-Avengers, pre-Ultron) Guardians of the Galaxy (sometime in 2014) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (after Guardians) Avengers: Age of Ultron (takes place in 2015) Ant-Man (takes place in 2015) Captain America: Civil War (post-Ultron, pre-Infinity War) Spider-Man: Homecoming (post-Civil War, pre-Infinity War) Doctor Strange (takes place in 2016) Black Panther (takes place in 2017) Thor: Ragnarok (post-Ultron, pre-Infinity War) Avengers: Infinity War (takes place in 2017) Ant-Man and The Wasp (ambiguous, but fits nicely between IW and Endgame) Avengers: Endgame (starts in 2017, finishes in 2022) Spider-Man: Far From Home (post-Endgame)
  10. Besides, if it would be any Simpsons character, I would think it would be Mr. Burns. Old and frail but thinks he's strong, everyone hates him except his Yes man, thinks only about himself and money...
  11. How/Why is this "Breaking News"? Here's more current "Breaking News": the Tigers are bad at baseball, high school and college kids like to get together and have parties, football coaches would like to play football this fall...
  12. Ohio is allowing high school fall sports, with parents/relatives as only "fans".
  13. Watching the Tigers flounder against the Indians all weekend made me so sick to my stomach, I thought I had the VID...
  14. Seconded. I've only gotten takeout at restaurants since this all started, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I could do outdoor dining on a restaurant patio, but it doesn't mean that much to me I guess.
  15. My son's high school is supposed to start back next week, and I am very concerned that this is what the hallways will still look like.
  16. Take it to the Gun Legislation thread... Other countries provide road maps, then we decry "oh, we couldn't possibly do THAT..."
  17. Still quite possible that UM pivots to all online, despite all the efforts to pull off an in-person Fall.
  18. It's definitely more of an alt/indie album than pop. I'm not a huge Bon Iver fan, but that collab really works.
  19. I have listened to the new Taylor Swift more times than I should probably admit... I even have it on right now!
  20. Right. You either make the playoffs, or you don't. What a silly question... For another silly question, will we hear "Yeah, Boyd!" after every strikeout even without fans in the stands?
