  1. Other than new offensive and defensive coordinators. What else is needed? 1. Depth. Good Lord, team depth is pathetic. 2. Defensive line. Hand and "Snacks" fit but there has too be better options. 3. A DB opposite Slay 4. A replacement for Stafford. Yes, I went there. What else?

  3. I offer some thoughts: http://www.brianwallace.blog/2018/10/24/detroit-lions-made-a-huge-trade/

  5. In my opinion the Lions need to be 9-7 at the very leas. Otherwise, Quinn will have egg on his face for firing Caldwell abd bringing in his guy who he hand picked to get the Lions to the next level.
  6. The Seawolves have a double header today. Avila is in PA. Back to the double header Game 1 starter Beau Burrows Game 2 starter Alex Faedo
  7. Ebron will not net the Lions a second round pick. That is overvaluing him. To me this is Quinn, who simply wants to have all 7 draft picks. Remember the Lions traded a 6th round pick last year to the Rams for Greg Robinson.
  8. I don't think this is in the plans. I think its a bad year for defensive ends in both free agency and the draft. They felt Ansah was the best option. Sure they could trade for Michael Bennett (Seahawks) and give up players and draft picks but in the end perhaps felt better about giving up 17+ million for a guy they already have. Don't get me wrong there are some very good OLB who can help a pass rush.
  9. The Lions can upgrade the woeful running game (or lack there of) in rounds 3-4. A kid I'm pretty high on is Grambling's Martez Carter
  10. This is something................ Matt Patricia May Not Hire DC With Lions January 21st, 2018 at 10:39am CST by Sam Robinson Matt Patricia is not certain to hire a defensive coordinator with the Lions, Volin notes. Patricia will run the Lions’ defense regardless. This was the job he was connected to throughout the offseason, and despite reports emerging the Giants had him among their finalists, Volin notes that wasn’t the case. McDaniels and Pat Shurmur are believed to be the only HC candidates the Giants were considering, per Volin.
  11. I have a blog and would be humbled if you would check it out.............http://www.brianwallace.blog/
  12. My gut says Austin just a Rooney check off. I don't think Quinn can fire Caldwell for not winning big games and turn around and hire a member of his staff
  13. I'm leaning towards Snoke being Darth Plagueis. Remember in Epi. III when Palpatine told Anakin (not in so many words) he killed Plagueis in his sleep? This would explain the scars on his face. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Plagueis

  15. What's Henning's source? My choice is Brandon Hyde. Cubs bench coach. He has minor league experience & was in charge of Cubs player development
  16. https://www.perfectgame.org/players/playerprofile.aspx?ID=388684 I think this kid would be a great choice. He'd solve SS while allowing Paredes to move to 3b. So, after the rebuild the infiel COULD look like: McCann-c Candy Man-1b Lugo- 2b Gils-SS Paredes 3b

  18. If Ausmus is not back next season who do the Tigers turn to? It will be a tough sell knowing this team could lose 200 games the next 2 years.
  19. This may help............... http://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/mlb/tigers/2017/09/04/writer-tigers-top-system-pitching-prospects/105269508/
  20. Update from Tom Reisenweber "Lugo looks comfortable at 2b. He's making difficult plays look easy."
  21. I actually asked Tom Reisenweber (Seawolves beat writer) on Twitter how Lugo looked at 2B. "Made two nice catches going away from the infield."
