Visiting Chicago? Have Kevlar Vest?
Visitors beware if inbound to Illinois. One of the last bastions of unconstitutionality with regard to the 2nd amendment has fallen to the mighty courts. Be prepared for high noon shootouts and duels on the legislative steps.

Court strikes down Illinois' concealed carry ban

CHICAGO — In a major victory for gun rights advocates, a federal appeals court on Tuesday struck down a ban on carrying concealed weapons in Illinois — the only remaining state where carrying concealed weapons is entirely illegal — and gave lawmakers 180 days to write a law that legalizes it.
In overturning a lower court decision, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the ban was unconstitutional and suggested a law legalizing concealed carry is long overdue in a state where gun advocates had vowed to challenge the ban on every front.Live your life for what it can be and not for what it was.

Illinois has 6 months to get their legislation together and enact the appropriate law. Be interesting to watch them allow it and then restrict it to the point of circumventing the court ruling. Much like when Chicago was overruled on gun ownership and they banned gun shops and training facilities preventing ownership with their restrictions.
