The party is on the brink of total collapse, and if Obama can pull off this election despite the slow recovery, by 2016 it will be demographically impossible for them to win anything.

You don't think so? The party is now run by a handful of hyper-wealthy propagandists and John Birchers, and PACs are basically doing the campaigning and political strategy for them. The chairman of the RNC at this point does virtually nothing. They may have enough wealth to pack a temporary political punch, but they're far too ignorant and short-sighted about politics to form the long-term coalitions and policy agendas that will support the party in the future. The party is shedding its intellectual base faster than a long-haired cat drops its winter coat in spring, and becoming a national punch-line for just about every comedian.

Heck, even the majority of Republicans disapprove of the job the Republican congress is doing. The party is currently propped up on animosity toward Obama alone. That can't be a good long-term strategy.

While I don't think that the Republican party collapsing is imminent, reasonable Republicans know that the changing demographics are a huge - and possibly fatal - issue long-term. They have to make inroads with minorities.

Republican's are being embraced and are embracing the actual fastest growing minority of South Asians. I do not recall a a Nikki Haley or Bobby Jindal among the Democrat governors. But, they fled socialist and cronyist societies to come here or were brought to America by parents fleeing the same.

Too bad they lose every single other minority group, including the one that will be competing for majority in about 30 years or so.

Ummm...they're not very popular with South Asians, actually. Just because they have two governors of that descent doesn't mean they're popular with the voters.

Asians in general have the highest percentage of liberals of any major racial demographic.
