Patterson is all about results and sometimes you have situations where a horribly corrupt leader in the community could save us from quite a bit of heartache. Or should Ficano be the one that 'stays classy' and keeps on doing his thing?

Not a big fan of Ficano. Just wondering if the WJR/Paul W Smith/Frank Beckman/Brooks Patterson shtick is getting old and needs to be put out of its misery.

Seriously, Ficano is the king of corruption in this region, and Brooks is catching heat for a joke. Unless Brooks has his jokewriter hidden in a county department drawing a 6-figure salary hidden in an unrelated county budget while waiting to get fired so he can draw a quarter-million-dollar severance, then our collective sense of outrage needs to be recalibrated.
