Going to my first game in over a year. I can't believe it's been this long. What's happened to me? Oh yeah, the wife is going back to school.
Even if there are only 25 other people there, it will be fun being back at the Palace."Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown

He'd certainly get on the court before JJ or English

Maxiell with an ugly looking jumper. Reddick gets the first 2 buckets of the game for the Magic.

Reddick nails a 3, 7 early ones and its 9-4 Magic. Completely different energy level than two nights ago. Hopefully its just an open game funk.
Knight nails the 3.

Amazing how far Drummond has come on defense just since the season started. He still goes for more shot fakes than you would like but near as many as he used to.

Is Bynum the only one who knows how to throw a lob on this team? Stuckey and Knight just made two terrible lob passes back to back.

I want a YouTube clip of all the terrible Stuckey layup attempts. Although I think YouTube has a time limit on those videos so might have to break it up into 10 or 12 parts.

how do you not love the way Bynum has been playing this year...
Quick question....how does Stuckey function ok with Bynum running the point but not with Knight running the point?Tigerbrand coffee is a real treat, even tigers prefer it to real meat.

Greg Monroe just hit a 15 hit jump shot and the next possession hit a layup with his right hand going right. The world is coming to an end.

Kelser made a great point that Monroe benefits catching the ball further from the hoop. It gives him more room to work his dribble drive, which is his strength at this point.

Drummond takes over the last minute of the 3rd and the Pistons are up 16. If the score holds up and Cleveland can hang on against Boston the Pistons would move within 4 games of the final playoff spot. Highly unlikely we make it, and even if we do we'd surely get crushed in the 1st round but its kinda crazy to even think of the playoffs after the start we had

Line-up of Knight Stuckey Bynum Singler and Drummond...what the hell is that? I think it's Frank giving the middle finger to English saying "I'm gonna put every guard we have on the floor but you"

historically it's not very likely....

It would not surprise me to see them make the playoffs but I would certainly bet my money against them. I just can't imagine making the playoffs with this group of guards. Drummond is coming into his own though and making it very difficult for teams to score easy in the paint on us.

I watched highlight films on Youtube of Drummond's 3 best games this year and he's quite impressive. I'm starting to wish that there was some way for me to watch the games in K-zoo just to see him, Monroe and Knight develop.

Actually we had lower level tickets behind the baseline near the Magics' bench for $14.50. Great deals to be found on the ol' internet.
It's quiet at the ol' games. We got there and for the first time in my life, I parked in the front row of the parking lot. We got there about 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE GAME. I usually park on the outside of a row near one of the trees so I can get to the outside quickly and drive out. If I did that tonight, We would've been about a half-mile farther than any other car.
I was reasonably restrained tonight. It was fun just being at a game again.
I can't believe that Bynum is becoming a disciplined offensive player before our eyes over the last month. Had to love the lineup that had Bynum, Stuckey and Knight in the fourth quarter. In three consecutive possessions each one had a drive to the bucket. Boy, I could've won money on a bet like that."Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown

I'm playing in a Macker tournament this summer (probably Dayton) with some old friends from Albion this summer. They drafted me for the team and know the only versatility I provide is I'll show up.
I can't dribble, don't have good court vision, have issues with the game speeding up in my mind, don't have a jump shot and have no lateral quickness - and that was 12 years ago when I played a lot and had at least a little game. Yeah, I might make a good Joe Dumars selection.

That was probably the case tonight. I could've been expected to show more post touch that Monroe did early in the game, but it did seem he got the ball closer to the hoop in the first half. In the second half, he looked much more comfortable after making that jumper and did post a nice distance from the paint. I'm looking at the stats and it has Monroe at 6-for-12 from the field. He was awful in the first half. I think he had one hoop in the first half.

Bynum looked like a point tonight. Did I just type that?
I watched Knight a lot tonight. He doesn't have any court vision because he doesn't even try to survey the court. He's kind of like a QB that zones in on his primary receiver and can't do anything else - the PG equivalent. He scored 18 points, but what an inefficient 18 points that was."Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown

The Pistons were strong on the defensive glass tonight. It says Orlando had six offensive boards. I think I remember one offensive board that was converted into a hoop.
