This would be a real nice win, but I don't see the Pistons coming out on top in this one. Would like to see a competitive game though.

I will be at a girls basketball game tonight, so it's a toss-up if I'm going to just turn the game on where it is when I get home or just watch the replay tonight.
One awesome thing about the Wings not playing is knowing the replay will ALWAYS be the Pistons game. I'm getting kind of spoiled actually."Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown

You may be giving him way more credit than he deserves with that line, DTropp.
Matt Millen never left Detroit - he just started wearing a very convincing Joe Dumars costume.

The last 90 seconds of that quarter were terrible. I think the Pistons were up 21-15 and finished the quarter down 22-21.

Monroe is a jizz rag in post D. As soon as Drummond went out, it was Marc/Marc/Zach. Zero resistance

and Stuckey not good at basketball.Last edited by Gehringer_2; 12-01-2012 at 09:55 AM.

I found it comical how at half Cleaves talks about how it's good that Stuckey and Knight are aggressive at "getting their own" offense, and then after the half, Kelser talks about how the lack of distribution (I think six assists at the half) will eventually kill this team's chances of winning the game if it doesn't change.
Really poor performance by the two guards. Really poor job by everyone with maintaining possession. Watching the game, it was hard to believe the Pistons were within single-digits late into the contest.
No one had more than four assists in the game. How the heck do you finish an NBA game with no one having more than four assists?"Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown

I don't know what to feel about Monroe's defense anymore. I would love to see him next to Drummond but Drummond is so raw that I am not sure it will make that much of a difference for this team yet. His 1.3 bpg is solid considering the minutes he gets but when I watch the games, I don't really see him protect the basket or alter shots yet. We need him to grow up fast on defense, if for no other reason than to see how Monroe looks on defense at the 4.

Funny thing is that the Piston PA isn't half bad so far this season. Now maybe part of that is that teams ease up some when they have a big lead and the Pistons have been behind a lot, to say the least. But this team mostly seems inept at putting the ball in the hoop, although last night in particular it was bad handling that killed them.

This is probably an overreaction to the start of this game but I am so over the Greg Monroe at center experiment. Anytime we face a true center with length, Monroe struggles.

I think I probably put this thread on the top and you just clicked on it thinking today's game thread would be on top.
