We will be betting today. Check back around 3PM to see if they published the prop bets yet. If they haven't, I will make my own up.

I get the feeling, moody was added as an extra.

Frank says Singler will start tonight vs. #Magic #Pistons
Stuckey, as I said yesterday, went to coach Frank and volunteered to come off the bench. Frank said ok. #Pistons
Stuckey suggested Kyle start in a meeting with Frank. #Pistons #Magic

Is Stuckey being a team player?

    Or

Is Stuckey taking the demotion so he can have the ball in his hands more and go all Stuckey all the time?

    Or is he moping?

I think it's probably B though, and it should be. A player should NEVER think that taking him out of the starting line-up is best for the team...particularly a young player in his prime. If it's A then he's definitely moping and down on himself...I don't particularly want that. If he thinks that he'll operate better with the ball in his hands as the #1 option, and Frank agrees then without question move him to the bench and let him come in with the 2nd unit as just that. Win Win in my opinion.

Magic with 35 points in the 4th quarter and the game still is not over. Very, very, bad defense.

Because Singler is the one guy who is not on the court at the same time as Stuckey since they are playing the same position; thus he is the one guy who does not have his +/- dragged down by Stuckey.

On the bright side, we are one game closer to Drummond starting (how does he only play 15 minutes?) and we are one loss closer to a top 3 lottery position.

I think it had more to do with Tay and Greg making almost all of their shots while Singler was on the floor.

While it would be great to be able to blame it all on Stuckey, I have a feeling the plus minus for both Stuckey and Singler in this game might be misleading.

I was only able to catch a few minutes of the 4th quarter. But reading the box score it looks like Knight had a nice game with 12 assists.

They were crushed on the boards again, 44-30. Their leading defensive rebounder was...Knight with 6. When your PG is your leading defensive rebounder, you're in trouble. Monroe had 5, Max 5, Drummond 1, Jerebko 1, Prince 3.

Basically, your 4 man C/PF rotation had 12 defensive rebounds combined. Total rebounds can lie a lot, but nobody has posted the rebounding percentages yet in the box scores.

    Watched the replay.

39 points in the fourth quarter? 39 points? Really?
Another couple double-digit leads blown? Really?
Orlando has 14 offensive boards to the Pistons' 24 defensive rebounds. Really?
    Another loss. Yeah, really.

I was going to post something about this but decided not to because I was not sure if it was misleading. The Pistons shot 54% from the floor and it was a fairly fast paced game. That said, I do think rebounding was a problem tonight and one of the bigger reasons we loss. The Magic had several big offensive rebounds in the 4th quarter that led to baskets.

It is to a certain extent because there is not that big of a discrepancy between the players. But I do not see how Stuckey fits in the half court offense as a two guard. In the past, his success came when he was pushing the ball up the court or passing to guys coming off of screens. Now, he watches Brandon Knight and Bynum do those. He is really struggling to fit in. I personally think we need to give Stuckey some minutes at point guard to try and get him going and to the free throw line more. Sit Bynum. Long term though, I would prefer to see Stuckey gone.

What is the plan with Drummond anyway. I'm getting pretty frustrated watching him produce, do something good and hit the bench for no reason, like he did last night. Drummond even at these stages of his career changes the game on the defensive end, players are altering their shots, I think Frank is just being stubborn at this point, Maxiel is playing well, but it is only well on the Maxiel scale. For the team Drummond needs to be out there.

Drummond didn't have to earn a second of playing time since he was 10 years old. This includes his time at UConn.

Drummond had a reputation of being lazy, uninterested, low motor, etc.

As soon as the ink dried on his contract with Detroit he has had to earn every single second of playing time.

Since that has happened, he has shown no signs of being lazy, uninterested, or having a low motor.

I like how Frank is bringing him along.

I agree. Making someone earn their spot is never a bad thing. Make them hungry and feel a sense of earned ownership once they've accomplished their goal. And, honestly, Max has shown he's willing to push the kid.

I agree to a point....I would like to see him getting consistent 20 per game though. Make him work to get into the starting line-up but that doesn't preclude him from getting 5-10 mins per game with Monroe still on the floor and a consistent 20 per. The games where he gets 13 mins and never plays alongside Monroe are all missed opportunities.
