Four way tie for third place in the worst record department between Pistons, Nets, Kings, Raptors. New Jersey has played 4 home games less and Sacramento has played 6 home games less (8-6 at home). Raptors just one. Raptors should get Bargnani back relatively soon.

I'm sure Betrayer was already giddy that Kuester was coming back. But Darvin Ham is in the house tonight too.

I watched the replay at midnight. Unfortunately, I knew it was going to go into OT because there was about 45 minutes left of the two-hour slot with 6 minutes left in the fourth quarter. So that took some of the suspense out of regulation.

Still an awesome game to watch and see the Pistons win.

lol, nice. 2 of my favorite people. Curry was in the house the day. That was bad enough.
Matt Millen never left Detroit - he just started wearing a very convincing Joe Dumars costume.

The problem is that the Pistons are better then most of those teams, after their horrible start they are 9-6. They probably should have stuck with Kuestar for one more year if they wanted a shot at the top of the draft, Frank seems to be actually seems to be getting the players to improve.

Without a doubt, this team has improved since the start of the season. You can actually identify roles for each player and what this team is trying to accomplish in a given period of time.

I see them finishing behind both the Kings and Raptors (assuming Bagnani returns in the next 10 days).

I really think the key was when the schedule got a bit easier with less games and a decent string of home dates. It gave Frank a chance to really impose what he wants out of this team during that stretch, and since then the team has created general identities that a fan can grasp and understand. Before that, I think I read on this board on a link someone posted that the Pistons only had about 1-2 practices for a long stretch at the start of the season. And looking at the schedule, it was easy to understand why.

If the Pistons were going to get slotted with 1-3 for the most ping-pong balls, they probably needed that period to last up to the All-Star break.

After this week the schedule gets much tougher again, at least based on road dates, time traveled and off days.

10 games over 18 days and 9 of those games are on the road. They won't have back-to-back games in the Palace. They could be up for another tough run. But after this run, the Pistons have it relatively good the rest of the season 9 of their last 15 are at home and 4 of those road games are consecutive over a 7-day period. That's not too bad. The Pistons could be set up to have a pretty strong ending to the season as well.
