Thought it'd be Monroe-Bogut tonight then realized that Bogut is missing his typical 40 games with a leg injury of some sort.

If I remember correctly, the Pistons are only 5 games out of a playoff spot!

If you get a chance, check the Eastern Conference standings vs. the Western Conference. It's been imbalanced a few times, but, gosh, it's really bad right now. The Bucks are tied for the last playoff spot right now in the East.

I'm no Brandon Knight fan.
I am happy to see him take a seat on the bench in favor of 39 year old Walker Russell. I'd rather see Russell develop over the next year than Knight. Only slight exaggeration. ."I've consolidated Kelly, Laird and Worth into one entity-- Kellairdorth. It's easier to pretend there's only one of them" CatsWithBats

I think Austin Daye could have a long career in this League as a chucking specialist.... if he would just chuck it. Stop pump faking AD, you can actually shoot.

Even though it happened two hours ago, I am still chuckling at how Blaha introduced the Bucks starting guard as the "Rock solid Shaun Livingston".... Heh, yeah, those are the first two words I would use to describe Livingston.

Stuckey was good tonight.... He was really abusing the Bucks in the 2nd quarter. They couldn't check him.

If we took the first four minutes of every quarter out of the game, I wonder if the Pistons actually would've won a game tonight.

The other PG that was being considered at the time was Kemba Walker. It's funny, if you look at their stats, both players are pretty close. Knight has a better FG, FT, and 3PT percentage. Walker has less turnovers and .5 more rebounds per game. They are roughly the same in every category. Might be something interesting to keep an eye on.
Matt Millen never left Detroit - he just started wearing a very convincing Joe Dumars costume.

What I've found comical lately is listening to Blaha and Kelser talk about the Orlando offensive woes, while we watch this team try to put together an offense.

I wanted Walker more than Knight at the time of the draft. But Knight has impressed me this year more than I expected. The one problem with Knight that is always going to hold him back to a degree IMO is his slower release on his shot. He is a good shooter but the slow release does limit when he can get his shot off. But I am happy we have him now and do think he will be a solid starting point guard in this league.

I liked Kemba more than Knight pre-draft too. I still do, especially after his triple double the other night. I know you can't totally judge a player 2 years out of high school completely, but you can get a good feel for his talents. Knight couldn't get to the cup in College all that well (won't be able to in the Pros much either), he was not strong enough with the dribble in traffic in College, thereby limiting his playmaking skills, won't be great at that in the pros either... He is quick, and is a knockdown outside shooter. His quickess will be negated a bit by his inability to do much in traffic. I think he will score some points in this League, but I see him being a poor man's Jamal Crawford Poor. Not a cornerstone.
