Team News

Pistons coach John Kuester, on the third-quarter difficulties: "We have to get better movement in the offense and continue with the intensity we've had defensively."
Kuester, on his decision to stick with a young lineup in the fourth quarter, and keeping Ben Gordon on the bench: "The other young guys had done such a good job of working and getting into the game. I know Ben has worked so hard trying to keep us in games, (but) we just stayed with the younger guys."
Gordon agreed with the move: "They were playing real well and I thought it was important for them to stay out there. They had a great flow going. I was in full agreement."

The Jazz won the second game of a back-to-back set, something they did only three times in 21 tries last season. They also ensured no worse than a split of the season series with San Antonio by beating the Spurs for the second time in a month.
F Carlos Boozer is averaging 22.3 points and 13.3 rebounds the last four games after struggling to open the season. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan noted that Boozer has been looking more to pass, thus opening the floor for himself, while Deron Williams said Boozer has gotten the lift back on his jumper.VT

Tied 90-90 after regulation. If not for a bunch of turnovers, the Pistons could have won this by now.
