It was always a risky pick, but I can't hate on them too much. They had 3 firsts this year and the guy has incredible talent. It was probably worth a risk. Much like Brandon Roy in Minnesota. They don't always work out, that's why they're risks.

I do agree with the premise that given the amount of money and time spent on specialists to help ensure athletes are playing at peak levels, it would make sense for teams to have a psychologist on staff.

From all I have read about/heard from Royce White, he seems like an intelligent, good guy. Unfortunately, he is dealing with health issues that should be put before anything else. For his own benefit, it may be best for him to look at a career change. The NBA life may not be feasible with the issues he has to deal with.
