Good. I watched two college games this week and wanted to put a gun in my mouth.
Poor Denver. Three of their main rotation guys signed in China. They are going to be really bad this year.VT

These idiots finally figured out most people don't care. A poll was recently taken and 75% of the people polled said they didn't care if the NBA played this year or not. At least the vendors and arena staff are back to work. The players can go **** themselves with the owners right behind them.

I just saw if flashing on the ol' ESPN News line (just woke up) and was going to post about it.
It'll be interesting to see how similar the schedules remain or if they'll jostle the dates to create a semi-traditional schedule.
I still might go to that Oakland U game."Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown
"I'm going to go the Pistons' game tonight and watch Sheed jack up threes." -unknown

I feel about the same way. I keep thinking that if the Pistons were better I might be excited by this news but then I think of the new owner's site and his photo gallery, something it looks like even Donald Trump has the good taste not to indulge in. The caption on this one is "Tom Gores of Platinum Equity and Detroit Pistons' President of Operations Joe Dumars." Nice shot of Joe (not that I really care), huh? Stupid I know, but I miss Davidson disappearing into the background dressed like a local hardware store clerk. Gores looks like he will need an entire section to accommodate his ego.

I think attendance at the Palace might go from 150 people last year per game to 90 people this year.

The Pistons averaged over 16,500 per game last year. With the bad season and economy, very respectable numbers.

I'd imagine a good portion of those empty seats were corporate seats that were "comp'd" as well.
Every time you play a hand of you poker you wanna run through a mental check list. Head Position Hand Position Neck Position Breathing Posture. More than 25 items. It's a lot. And that why I've come up with a handy mnemonic device. Just one word: HPHPNPBPECMSPAMDCPAFTSTTL. It's easy.

I think it mentioned attendance, but was more discussing attendance based on who shows up. It mentioned attendance and then Monkeynuts clarified his position mentioning how dead it was there.
BTW,
It was always very dead when I went last year. I went to some games I don't think there were 6,000 people there."Only Lions fans can predict a victory when their starting quarterback has a broken arm." -unknown
