Question Coming To Detroit. Need advice.

I'm coming up to Detroit on Sunday August 5th for the game at Comerica. Some fellow Geek Squad agents got a meetup together and thought that would be a good place to have it.

While I am there I want to check out some good places to eat and find a good place to get a tattoo. I've heard that Hockeytown cafe and Cheli's Chili Bar are both good, but I'm open to recommendations.

I would also like to get a tattoo while I'm there. Nothing fancy. Just a "Tigers D". Where is a good place to get one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but would pass a health inspection?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

The Elwood Grill between the Gem parking structure and CoPa makes a pretty good burger, and reasonably priced. Turkey burger with avocado, fries, slaw, and a Bell's Oberon for $15.00 including tip.

    Make a reservation though

I know I might be in the minority here, but I honestly think Slows is somewhat overrated. I actually liked the food overall at Red Smoke in Greektown, more than Slows.

As far as the tattoo question, I've gone to Eternal in Eastpointe (Near 10 Mile & Gratiot) for all of mine & don't have any complaints about any of the work I've had done there.

I've got some sewing needles and a blow torch. I'll do it for free. Can't be that hard to do.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll have to check out as many as I have time for. If anybody has any other ones let me know. I plan on doing a thorough google/yelp search of each of them to plan the day/weekend.

I'm actually not a huge fan of Slows or Red Smoke, but love Mercury Burger Bar across the street from Slows.
