Draw the square on the can. Drill a hole in the top right corner and bottom left corner, big enough to get tin snips in. You just need the hole big enough to get the tips in. From each corner cut to the corner that doesn't have a hole drilled.

corky has the correct answer, the others are trolls (ginsu was funny though) -- every home should have a dremel.
Also if you're gonna use that for a bong you might want to think again as smoking through metal is a suspected contributor to developing Alzheimer's disease (or so Chad at my local head shop tells me anyway.) Get a good piece of glass instead. Your lungs will thank you as well!TheCaptain: Is it just me or does one of Fielder's sons look like Miguel Cabrera?

I find the dremel to be overrated. Deleterious has the practical best idea. After, of course, the Ginsu suggestion.
"For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land."
William Earnest Harwell (1918-2010), from the Song of Solomon.

What is 4 + 6
What is 2 +8
What is 10 + 0
People answer "Ten!"
Then you ask them "What is an aluminum can made out of ?"
And they shout "Tin!"
You say "No an aluminum can is made out of aluminum"
I just cut a piece of aluminum and it was very difficult until I got the tin snips out.
Tin snips are pretty cheap I believe they cost around $5.
They have righty and lefty versions coded by color but it doesn't really matter for a can.
Or buy a set of 3 for around $10 so you have straight, left and right tin snips.
If you own a pair already good on you.Nice to see a civilized baseball crowd. No idiots behind homeplate waving zoo animal puppets and garishly colored flags.(quote from "Antrat")
