Spaghetti puttanesca with a salad. I think I overdid a little on the cracked red pepper, though. It had more bite than usual. Clearing our sinus, so I guess it's all for the good.

Spaghetti with a new kind of sauce. The sauce was too sweet for my taste. We also had salad and garlic bread.

Well, I just had way too many of something called "Who Nu" cookies, which are basically oreo cookies with a bunch of vitamins added as well as fiber. So they're supposedly healthier than oreos, but as with other cookies a few too many of them tend to find their way into my stomach.
Needless to say, I will not be buying them again. ;)This spot, and a place in my heart, is reserved for TC.

I've got one of those pre marinated turkey tenderloins roasting, cajun butter flavor. It's something I haven't tried before, and originally purchased to grill but it's raining too hard out there. I'll have to let you know whether it's a hit or miss. Sure convenient.
I'm going to microwave some corn on the cob (spray it with butter spray, roll it up in waxed paper and nuke) and have a nice broccoli salad made.

Sausage and broccoli w/marinara sauce over either penne or linguine. (I have to check and see what's on the shelf in the pantry, vis-a-vis macaroni)

Since we were talking about slow cooker recipes earlier in this thread, I wanted to post this recipe. My oldest daughter made it today and says that it's amazing! The only change she suggests is to double the sauce.
Honey-Bourbon Pulled Chicken | Healthy. Delicious.
I'm going to pick up some bourbon and try it next week. I've already got the rest of the ingredients.
-
That sounds very good! I will probably try it eventually, but I don't have some of those ingredients handy.
This is one I'm going to try tonight (was recommended on the NYY website's menu thread. lol...), and it sounds super easy:
My Kitchen Apron: Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken
edit to add: I just went shopping and I can't believe that the HUGE Stop N' Shop nearby doesn't have FROZEN chicken breasts ..... only frozen breaded/cooked chicken!
Now I'll have to wait til I can get to Costco and buy their frozen chicken breasts.
I guess tonight's dinner will be something else. Anything else.

I cheated tonight. I made Indian food, but not from scratch as usual. I got a couple jars of different curry sauces at the store and baked some tofu and put in in one sauce and some frozen peas and butternut squash in another. Then I boiled some basmati rice and heated store-bought naan bread in the microwave. Pretty good but salty, like most prepared foods. Fresh grape tomatoes on the side were great for clearing the pallet between bites too.

It was pretty solid. I substituted the garlic sauce for the chipotle sauce and got it without tomatoes, but I would have taken off the basil, or whatever it was, leafs too.
