Your favorite beer...
All right, I love beer. I thought it might be an interesting thread to have people post their favorite beers. Also for those who see someone with favorite beers similar to yours, throw out some suggestions. I'll kick it off...
My current favorite beers...
Bell's Oberon
Grizzly Peak Steelhead Red (Anyone around the Ann Arbor area I highly recommend this place)
Blue Moon
Leinenkugel's Red
New Holland Paleooza
Pabst Blue Ribbon (classy!)
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now, there are many others I enjoy, but these are always mainstays. Let me know if you have any recommendations...
That spoon, that spoon, that spoonful.

I've developed a strong liking for Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat.
Of all the things in life I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Ya know I tried this once, bought a six-pack of it... I believe it said the cherries were from Michigan, and I lived around the Traverse City area for a large portion of my life (home of the Cherry Festival) so I thought I'd give it a try. I think it may have been the only 6 pack I've ever purchased just to try something new that I didn't finish. The cherry flavoring was a little too overpowering.

There is beer and then, there is Blue Moon. (slice of orange please.)

That's what I get when I want to treat myself. If I'm looking for cheap beer, I'll go with Miller Lite.Last edited by potthole; 08-23-2007 at 10:57 PM.

My favorite is OPB. Love that. What is OPB? Other People's Beer. Price cannot be beat.

I don't really have a favorite. I just have those that I won't drink.
If I had to pick, I'd go with Stella. Sometimes you can find it on sale at Meijer for $7.99 for a six pack. I just don't like the smaller bottles. Bailey's has it on draft.
For every day beer it's still Labatt. I think I'm immune to it. At the game last night I had 5 of the 25 ouncers. I was thinking it'd go into extra innings so I had to get the fifth one before they shut off the sales. That's a new record for me at a game..

Every time you play a hand of you poker you wanna run through a mental check list. Head Position Hand Position Neck Position Breathing Posture. More than 25 items. It's a lot. And that why I've come up with a handy mnemonic device. Just one word: HPHPNPBPECMSPAMDCPAFTSTTL. It's easy.

I hate the taste of beer. I have to get drunk before I can drink beer. Genreally, I can choke down that Mike's Hard Lemonade, and **** like that.

Every year I start asking my local Packi when he's going to start getting Octoberfest....its like a cruel waiting game. Same thing happens in the early summer with Sierra Nevada Summerfest.

My favorite beer? Whatever is in YOUR refrigerator.
But if I have a choice,

And on a hot summer day...this is something I have really come to appreciate.

But I'm not picky.VT
