    Default Your favorite beer...

All right, I love beer. I thought it might be an interesting thread to have people post their favorite beers. Also for those who see someone with favorite beers similar to yours, throw out some suggestions. I'll kick it off...

    My current favorite beers...

    Bell's Oberon
Grizzly Peak Steelhead Red (Anyone around the Ann Arbor area I highly recommend this place)
    Blue Moon
    Leinenkugel's Red
    New Holland Paleooza
    Pabst Blue Ribbon (classy!)
    Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now, there are many others I enjoy, but these are always mainstays. Let me know if you have any recommendations...

That spoon, that spoon, that spoonful.

Ya know I tried this once, bought a six-pack of it... I believe it said the cherries were from Michigan, and I lived around the Traverse City area for a large portion of my life (home of the Cherry Festival) so I thought I'd give it a try. I think it may have been the only 6 pack I've ever purchased just to try something new that I didn't finish. The cherry flavoring was a little too overpowering.

That's what I get when I want to treat myself. If I'm looking for cheap beer, I'll go with Miller Lite.

    I don't really have a favorite. I just have those that I won't drink.

If I had to pick, I'd go with Stella. Sometimes you can find it on sale at Meijer for $7.99 for a six pack. I just don't like the smaller bottles. Bailey's has it on draft.

For every day beer it's still Labatt. I think I'm immune to it. At the game last night I had 5 of the 25 ouncers. I was thinking it'd go into extra innings so I had to get the fifth one before they shut off the sales. That's a new record for me at a game.

yeah, good stuff. Lots of good Michigan beers out there.

It's too bad they don't distribute Bells in Chicago anymore.

Red Seal is really good too. So is Rogue dead Guy Ale.

I had this in a small pub when I was in Bitburg, Germany. It was the only beer in the joint. A little too bitter for me.

My favorite is Tecate, but I drink a lot of Labatt, too. Rolling Rock is a good summer beer.

Fair enough, I really love beer on draught, the aroma is key. I'll keep an eye out for this next time I decide to hit a watering hole that carries it.

My favorite beer? Whatever is in YOUR refrigerator.

But if I have a choice,

And on a hot summer day...this is something I have really come to appreciate.

    But I'm not picky.
