    Default Ultimate Tiger Replay

I'll probably quit with posts after awhile (as I always do) but I thought I'd start it anyway.
I used to have a 20-team Ultimate Tiger Replay, but now it's a 42-team season with many modifications. It's essentially going to be a 35-game NCAA basketball style league. There are seven 6-team conferences with each team playing 20 conference games. There are 15 randomly chosen non-league games (dice determine them). At the season's end there will be conference tourneys determining automatic tournament selections into my 16-team NCAA style tourney. The rest of the field will be made up of the best at-large teams based on my opinion, a math system I have and possibly people here if they want to help. The seedings for the tourney will be based on the math system primarily.

In the perfect world I will play five 35-game seasons to come close to creating one large regular season. However, I realize I'll never do that so I created the sub-seasons. Another interesting twist is I'm using actual starting pitchers, transaction dates and military service dates (when applicable) for each team. So if during game #28 the 1946 Tigers picked up George Kell, then they can play him starting that date. What this will do is create teams that are "better" during the first season than the second, than the third ect. Also the 1987 Tigers should be much better during a season that Doyle is on the team than when not. It'll be interesting.
I do have one more twist. Based on a dice throw some teams start with their actual game dates from the season opener. Others start at the midpoint of their season. Odd rolls were the actual start and the even rolls were at their halfway point. Example: The 1993 Tigers played 162 games and will start at the halfway point. That means their season starts with the players they had at game 82 and with transations at that time. When they get to 162 they revert to game #1. This will make more impact on starting pitcher assignments I'm guessing. What was remarkable was it seemed the teams that would do better starting at the halfway point "got lucky" and started there. For example the 1987 team will start at game 82 so probably about season #2 or #3 Doyle should join the team.

I am using Statis-Pro Baseball. Anyone want to know more info please ask!

I am doing other replays as well so this thread my die for awhile and then start up like a ball of fire suddenly. To start the season each team will play two games against two own conference foes. To make it easier on myself, I'm playing the first four games for each team in a conference before I go on to another. Here are the conferences. These conference were randomly done based on dice rolls.
The first conference games I'm playing are in the Briggs Conference. Overall the only real weak team is the 1918 team but there are a bunch of mediocre ones as well. This team overall has a 486-423 record with a win pct. of .535. That's fifth best of the seven conferences. The 1945 team won a world title and the 1909 team lost in the world series. They are clearly the top teams.

Briggs Conference (starting date)(actual 35-game record from that date)
    1909 98-54 (midpoint start)(21-13-1)
    1918 55-71 (opening day)(13-22)
    1945 88-65 (midpoint start)(19-15-1)
    1958 77-77 (opening day)(14-21)
    1982 83-79 (midpoint start)(18-17)
    1993 85-77 (midpoint start)(15-20)
I'm guessing 1909 will dominate this conference. It has superior pitching. 1945 has Hank Greenberg back from the war (lucky roll) and should be solid. It's offense is better but it's pitching isn't nearly as deep. I was going to pick 1958 as a great darkhorse, but with that 35-game record during the stretch I'm using I'm wondering if the starting pitchers used at that time weren't too strong. I guess I'll find out. 1993 may be able to slug their way to a better record than most would anticipate as well.

    First games coming up...

    Game 1 of 2
    1918 Tigs 000 000 000 - 0 9 0 LP:Boland 8IP,6H,2R,2ER,0K,1W,1BK.
    1909 Tigs 000 002 00X - 2 6 0 WP:Killian 9IP,9H,0R,4K,2W,1WP.

The first game of the new season! It was a dandy with many of the same players having cards on each team. Of course the 1909 team was clearly better though. With one out Donnie Bush doubled and an out later Ty Cobb singled, making it a 1-0 lead. Cobb then went to third on Sam Crawford's single and scored on Bernie Boland's balk, forced by Cobb's thoughts of stealing home. Ed Killian (PB 2-9) was masterful but was aided by two double plays. One in the fourth game with runners on first and third with one out. the second gcame in the seventh with a runner on first and no out. The 1918 Cobb couldn't keep up with the 1909 Cobb. the 1918 version went 0-for-3 with a walk. The 1909 version went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. He almost drove in another in the eighth with the single, but Donnie Bush was thrown out by Harry Heilmann at the plate.

    Stars
5pt:1909 Ed Killian (pitching stats above and also a sac)
3pt:1909 Ty Cobb (2-for-4 with two singles an RBI and run scored)
2pt: 1918 Bernie Boland (pitching stats above plus a sac)
1pt:1909 Donnie Bush 1-for-3, double, walk, run scored, SBase.

    1918 Tigs 000 000 000 - 0 3 2 LP:James 7IP,7H,5R,4ER,2K,1W,1HR.
    1909 Tigs 122 000 00X - 5 7 0 WP:Summers 9IP,3H,0R,2K,3W.
    Records: 1918 Tigers 0-2, 1909 Tigers 2-0

The 1918 Tigers have a troublesome offense and that showed in their first two games being shutout both times on just 12 hits. This time it was Ed "Kukapoo" Summers that did the damage for the victors. Offensively, Boss Schmidt hit a two-run homer that also plated Claude Rossman, who tripled to open the inning. Ty Cobb went 2-for-4 and even had an RBI on one of his groundouts. He scored a run and stole a base. Donnie Bush reached base three times. Once on an error in the first inning, eventually scoring on Cobb's grounder and then in the third after he walked, went to second on Cobb's single, moved to third on a double steal and then scored on Sam Crawford's two-run double. He also singled later on.
Bobby Veach had two singles for the 1918 squad and has three of the team's 12 hits so far this season.

    Stars
    5pt: Summers; 3pt: Schmidt; 2pt: Cobb; 1pt: Bush (all 1909 players)
    Forced rests
    1909: Germany Schaefer 4 games.

    1945 Tigs at 1958 Tigs

    1945 Tigs 000 001 000 - 1 8 0 WP:Newhouser 9IP,0R,10H,3K,3W.
    1958 Tigs 000 000 000 - 0 10 0 LP:Bunning 9IP,8H,1R,1ER,6K,2W.

My third game of the revised 42-team league and my third shutout. This time the Prince Hal Newhouser posted it. But he got tons of help from the defense which two double plays, had a great play out (CD reading for those who play statis-pro), and a runner thrown out at the plate. The only run was scored in the 45 team's sixth. With one out Rudy York singled. Hank Greenberg harmlessly popped out to shortsto but then Doc Cramer, who went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base, singled him to third. Bob Maier then doubled in York, but a second potential run was gunned out at the plate by 58s Charlie "Paw Paw" Maxwell.
The 1958 team put together a great run in the sixth as well. Gail Harris led off the inning with a single but then Maxwell grounded into a double play. However, Red Wilson then singled and Billy Martin doubled to center. Trying to score from first, Wilson was gunned out at the plate by Cramer.
In the eighth a DP snuffed out a runner at first (Maxwell who walked) and in the ninth pinch hitter Ray Boone singled. He was replaced by pinch runner Tito Francona, but it didn't matter as Milt Bolling, who was forced to replace Frank Bolling early in the game, got out to end the game.

    Stars
5pt: Newhouser (he also had a single at the plate)
3pt: Bunning (he also walked at the plate)
2pt: Cramer (2-for-3 with a walk and also threw out a runner at the plate)
    1pt: Maier (game-winning double)
    Injuries
    1945: Skeeter Webb 4 games.

    1945 Tigs 000 100 000 - 1 6 3 WP:Morgan 7IP,4H,1R,1ER,1K,3W.
    1958 Tigs 200 100 10X - 4 3 0 LP:Benton 7IP,3H,4R,4ER,1K,1W,2HR.
    Records: 1945 Tigers 1-1, 1958 Tigers 1-1.

Another low-hit game but at least the losing team scored a run. In the 1958 team's first Harvey Kuenn walked and Gail harris hit a two-run homer, earning the home squad all the runs they needed with starting hurler Tom Morgan on the mound. Two more runs were added though. Charlie Maxwell led off the fourth with a single and eventually scored when Coot Veal reached base on an error by 1945 third baseman Bob Maier. Then in the seventh Ozzie Virgil hit a solo homer.
Morgan, who will never start another regular season game again, was masterful but two double plays and two great defensive plays helped him along as well. Reliever Hank Aguirre also was strong, hurling two innings of relief for the save.
Only Bob Swift had as many as two hits for the 1945 squad.

    Stars (all 1958 players)
    5pt:Morgan(also started a DP)
    3pt:Harris(his two-run homer)
    2pt:Aguire(two shutout relief innings)

Here are the other conferences ranked in order of toughest to weakest according to win pct (excluding ties)

    Anderson Conference
    #1 ranked 529-409 .564 win pct.
    1984 Tigs 104-58 (World Champs)
    1935 Tigs 93-58 (World Champs)
    1908 Tigs 90-63 (AL Champs)
1944 Tigs 88-66 (Lost AL on final day of season)
    1954 Tigs 68-86
    1978 Tigs 86-78
Poor 1978 Tigers. If they were in a weaker conference they could've done something. Not in this one though. I'm guessing the strong team that may be left out is the 1908 Tigers. There's a lot of offense in this conference. And while their pitching staff is strong, I fear offensively they are going to need more fire power. I'm guessing three teams make the tourney from this conference - 1984, 1935 and 1944.

    Jennings Conference
    #2 ranked 511-424 .546 win pct.
    1968 Tigs 103-59 (World Champs)
    1907 Tigs 92-58 (AL Champs)
    1938 Tigs 84-70 (Greenberg clouts 58 homers)
    1911 Tigs 89-65 (Cobb hits .420)
    1975 Tigs 57-102
1972 Tigs 86-70 (AL East champs)
That's a pretty darn good conference as well. Really I can see five of the six teams winning this thing. Looking for a good darkhorse in this thing. Pick the 1911 Tigers. They could easily win this conference. Strong offense and decent pitching. Predict to make tourney - 1968, 1911, 1907.

    Harwell Conference
    #3 ranked 515-435 .542 win pct.
1987 Tigs 98-64 (AL East champs)
    1930 Tigs 75-79
    1946 Tigs 92-62 (Second place)
    1956 Tigs 82-72
    1965 Tigs 89-75
    1997 Tigs 79-83
No dominant teams especially when you consider Doyle Alexander will be a non-factor this first season. There isn't a really bad team either. The 1997 team was doing fairly well in my 20-team Ultimate Tiger Replay if I remember correctly. This may rank as the third toughest but I'm not sure there is a real contender for the World Championship among this group. They'll probably beat each other up and end up with their conference champ team and maybe another one sneaking in with an at-large bid. I'm picking 1946 to win the conference.

    Campbell Conference
    #4 ranked 502-426 .541 win pct
    1961 Tigs 101-61 (second place)
1901 Tigs 74-61 (first Detroit Tiger AL team ever)
    1926 Tigs 79-75
    1940 Tigs 90-64 (AL champs)
    1976 Tigs 74-87 (The Bird)
    1991 Tigs 84-78
Not a good conference. This is clearly a two-team race between 1961 and 1940 with 61 getting the nod. Those two teams better win an at-large bid because if this league does as poorly as I expect in non-conference confrontations it may only get one team into the dance. Tourney picks 1961.

    Briggs Conference
    #5 ranked 486-423 .535 win pct.
    1909 Tigs 98-54 (AL champs)
    1918 Tigs 55-71
    1945 Tigs 88-65 (World Champs)
    1958 Tigs 77-77
    1982 Tigs 83-79
    1993 Tigs 85-77
Details earlier. Tourney picks - 1909 & 1945. 1918 could be the worst team in the tourney. Worse than 2003 and 1975.

    Fetzer Conference
    #6 ranked 495-433 .533 win pct.
    1934 Tigs 101-53 (AL champs)
    1903 Tigs 65-71
1922 Tigs 79-75 (all offense no pitching)
    1962 Tigs 85-76
    1986 Tigs 87-75
    2000 Tigs 78-83
1934 will cruise to the title. With its pitching staff 1903 really isn't that bad of a team. Could shock and finish second but could end up in sixth. The real darkhorse to watch though is 1922. Lousy pitching but they could bat .320 as a team easily. A lot of good decent teams but no one to write home about after 1934. Tourney team guess: 1934.

    Navin Conference
    #7 ranked 493-454 .521 win pct.
    1915 Tigs 100-54 (second place)
    1914 Tigs 80-73
    1950 Tigs 95-59 (second place)
    1967 Tigs 91-71 (second place)
    1980 Tigs 84-78
    2003 Tigs 43-119
This is better named the bride's maid conference. Three heartbreaking seconds in this league and all three are very solid squads. The only thing that put this conference at No. 7 is the 2003 Tigers. This could be a very good conference. Four teams are going to have a shot at the tourney I think. the 1915 team is the best team Tiger fans don't know about and the 1950 team may be the second best team Tiger fans don't know about. 1980 is going to be dangerous. Tourney picks - 1915, 1950, 1967, 1980 (that's right four teams).

I had 15 tourney picks I think. My guess is the final one will be between 1940 and 1987. Don't be shocked if one of the two don't make the tourney.

In a game shortened to six innings due to rain the only run was scored when Alan Trammell tripled and scored on Travis Fryman's sacriice fly. David Wells allowed a single in the fifth when Chet Lemon singled but John Wockenfuss then grounded out into a double play ending the threat. With a 50-50 chance of rain after the end of every inning after the fifth, the game extended only into the sixth.

Great to see you get this up and running Dtroppens. I am rooting big time for the 1950 squad to get out of the Navin division.

    SweetLou,
I like that team as well too. Right now we have a co-op going for the 1950 season in the replay forum at delphi. The Tigers have a very good chance of winning the AL. Actually I have the next Tiger game to play in that co-op. I consider the 1950 Tigers one of the best Tiger teams Tiger fans know nothing about.

    1945 Tigers(1-1, 1-1) at 1909 Tigers(2-0, 2-0)

    1945 Tigers 000 000 000 - 0 3 1 LP:Overmire 5IP,8H,7R,7ER,1K,4W.
    1909 Tigers 022 032 00X - 9 13 1 WP:Mullin 9IP,3H,0R,0K,3W.

George Mulin was the master. Not only did he toss a three-hit shutout but he also had two doubles with one driving in a run. Offensively, Oscar Stange was 2-for-3 with an RBI-single, an RBI-double and a sacrifice fly. Ty Cobb also had a strong game going 4-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI. All the hits were singles.
No one had more than one hit for the 1945 squad but Eddie Mayo did have a single and a walk while Hank Greenberg walked twice.

    Records: 1945 Tigers 1-3, 1-3; 1909 Tigers 4-0, 4-0.
Sam Crawford had an RBI-double, an RBI-single and an RBI-ground out to pace the 1909 team to the victory and a nice 4-0 start in the 20-game conference season and 35-game regular season. Ty Cobb continued his hot play with a 2-for-2 day that included two runs scored, a walk and a sacrifice bunt.
Roy Cullenbine cut the gap to 7-5 in the ninth for the 1945 team. That sent Walter Wilson to the showers in favor of Les Mueller. Mueller almost didn't do the job. Rudy York singled putting the tying run at the plate. However, Hank Greenberg, Doc Cramer and Bob Maier went out in order after that ending the game.

    1918 Tigers 000 000 000 - 0 4 2 LP:Erickson 9IP,10H,9R,5ER,7W,1HR.

Another game for the 1918 Tigers and another shutout. That's three games and they have yet to score a run. Jerry Udjur was the stud hurler against the 18 team this time. He only allowed two hits in the same inning once. That was in the ninth when Bobby Veach and Ty Cobb had consecutive singles to start the inning. However, the next three got out in order without a run scoring.
The 1982 team had no troubles scoring. Kirk Gibson was 3-for-4 with a three-un homer, a double and a walk. Larry Herndon also had a three-run triple in the ninth as well. And if things can't get any worse, Cobb is now hurt.

    Darn it,
I just tried to beg a co-worker who I gave a job out of school to make a positive post here. He wouldn't do it and came short of calling me a geek.

I'll have to try my wife later.

I am going to have some fun here. I've played some games but I'm going to toss out what I think may have been my top 25 entering this tourney at a quick glance. This was done totally just by a little mind thinking in about 3 minutes. I'm sure if I broke this down I'd come up with a totally different list. But for the sake of having some sort of fun NCAA poll to start the season, this will work. The pretenders will fall.

    1. 1934 Tigers - Selection to win Fetzer Conference
    2. 1968 Tigers - Selection to win Jennings Conference
    3. 1961 Tigers - Selection to win Campbell Conference
    4. 1935 Tigers - Selection to win Anderson Conference
    5. 1984 Tigers - #2 Anderson
    6. 1909 Tigers - Selection to win Briggs Conference
    7. 1946 Tigers - Selection to win Harwell Conference
    8. 1915 Tigers - Selection to win Navin Conference
    9. 1950 Tigers - #2 Navin
    10. 1967 Tigers - #3 Navin
    11. 1983 Tigers - Selection to win the Mayo Smith Conference
    12. 1940 Tigers - #2 Campbell
    13. 1907 Tigers - #2 Jennings
    14. 1969 Tigers - #2 Mayo Smith
    15. 1919 Tigers - #3 Mayo Smith
    16. 1983 Tigers - #4 Mayo Smith
    17. 1956 Tigers - #2 Harwell
    18. 1945 Tigers - #2 Briggs
    19. 1944 Tigers - #3 Anderson
    20. 1911 Tigers - # 3 Jennings
    21. 1962 Tigers - # 2 Fetzer
    22. 1908 Tigers - #4 Anderson
    23. 1986 Tiges - #3 Fetzer
    24. 1987 Tigers - #3 Harwell
    25. 1991 Tigers - #3 Campbell

    Bottom Five
    48. 1918 Tigers .436 win pct. - Briggs
    47. 2003 Tigers .265 win pct. - Navin
    46. 1975 Tigers . 358 win pct. - Jennings
    45. 1954 Tigers .441 win pct. - Anderson
    44. 1903 Tigers .478 win pct. - Fetzer

Some of these teams I know lost games and should be lower but like I said I was trying to do this as I may have saw it before it began.

Well I said I made that top 25 in a few minutes without much thought and apparently that list proves it. Apparently I couldn't figure out if I wanted to make the 1983 team 11th or 16th so I put them in both times. Oh well, this first poll was a hack job just to add some fun by creating "national" rankings. A top 24 makes more sense anyway because there are only 48 teams.

    Back to the games....
    1914 Tigers at 8)1915 Tigers

    1915 Tigers 3, 1914 Tigers 2
I think this is the only conference that has two teams in back-to-back yearrs. It wasn't on purpose. Random dice rolls did it.

Harry Covelski (2-8) tossed an eight-hitter while striking out two and walking two resulting in the 1915 team's win. Offensively, Ty Cobb went 3-for-4 with an RBI-single while Ossie Vitt had two singles including an RBI-hit to pace the 1915 team. The 1914 team was led by Sam Crawford's 3-for-3 day that included an RBI-single and a walk. Jean Dubuc (PB2-7) took the loss.
    Injuries
    1914 Tigers: Burns 2 games

    1914 Tigers 3, 1915 Tigers 1
Tied at 1-all, the 1914 team got Marty Kavanaugh on base in the seventh on an error and he eventually scored on Oscar Stanage's triple and Stanage scored on a suicide squeeze by starting pitcher Hooks Dauss resulting in the win. We had our first intersting pitcher matchup as Hooks Dauss pitched for both teams, allowing one earned run in 18 innings of work. The 1914 version tossed a four-hittter while the 1915 hurler pitched a seven-hitter. Both had three strikeouts and one walk. This was a true deadball game as there were three errors and four sacrifices.

    Records
    1914 Tigers 1-1, 1-1
    1915 Tigers 1-1, 1-1

I'm changing the format I am doing these posts back to a past way I did it. I just don't like how they were looking the last few weeks.

    (12) 1940 Tigers at 1926 Tigers

    1940 Tigers 200 200 340 - 11 16 1 WP:Newsom 8IP,10H,3R,3ER,4K,4W.

Rudy Yok hit a three-run homer and had an RBI-groundout to pace the 1940 Tigers. Bobo Newsom also helped his own cause hitting two singles and scoring twice. Barney McCosky had a strng game with three hits which included a two-run double and an RBI-single.
The 1926 Tigers were paced by Charlie Gehringer who was 3-for-5 with an RBI-double.

    Bridges (2-7) vs. Johns (2-5)
Not a good pitching matchup for sure for the 1926 Tigers and the 1940 team made sure they paid for it. Rudy York, Pinky Higgins and Birdie Tebbetts each had two RBIs in the win.
Hienie Manush also had two ribbies for the losers with both coming on a triple. Hooks Dauss did an admirable job replacing Augie Johns allowing two runs in six innings.

It'll be interesting to see what type of record the 2003 team posts during these replays. Here are their first two games.

    2003Tigs 110 000 000 - 2 11 0LP:Maroth 7IP,5H,3R,3ER,6K,4W,1HR,1WP.

Only six hits but it was enough for the 1980 team. RBI-singles by Ricky Peters and Steve Kemp in the third and a solo homer by Tom Brookes sparked the win. After Morris pitched 7 1/3 pretty effective innings, Pat Underwood completed the final 1 2/3 innings for the save.
In the first the 2003 team scored when Alex Sanchez singled, stole second, and eventually scored on Craig Monroe's single. In the second Brandon Inge walked and scored on Bobby Higginson's triple.

Well it didn't take the 2003 team too long to get that first win. Dimitri Young and Craig Monroe had two-run homers while Eric Munson hit a solo shot to earn the 03 team the win. Ricky Peters hit two doubles, driving in a run with one and eventually scoring one after the other on Alan Trammell's single. Lou Whitaker also had an RBI-groundout. On the mound Chris Spurling earned the save with two innings of relief work. Jamie Walker had an inning of shutout ball on the mound as well. Dave Tobik also had two shutout innings in relief for the 1980 team.

    Forced Rests
2003: Kingsale 1 game, Inge 6 games (don't tell Jake about this one)

    Records
    Both teams are 1-1, 1-1.

I thought I'd take a few minutes to discuss a bit about the game I am playing. It's called Statis-Pro Baseball. It went defunct a long time but the equations needed to make cards were included in the actual rules and since then many people have made their own cards and others actually sell them on the internet.

Basically it's a batter-pitcher interaction. Each pitcher had a control reading called a PB. It ranges from 2-5 (worst) to 2-9 (best). To start each batter you check the PB# which can be a number 2-12. If it is within the pitcher range the play result on a random number from 11-88 (base eight system) is read off the pitcher card. If not then it's read off the batter card. Here's the deal though. On pitcher cards you can't get more than a single. All doubles, triples, homers and hit batters are derived from the batter cards. So it becomes obvious that as the team up you want to see the pitcher have a lower PB rating. I actually made up two new readings. 40% of pitchers in the actual games made by Avalon Hill had 2-6 readings. It was too great a range so I created a 2-6- and a 2-6+ to create a bit more variety.

Position players also are ranked for error frequency at each position and overall defensive skill. They are ranked for base running ability, stolen base ability and sacrifice ability. Piithers are ranked for starting and relief endurance and many have their own batting cards.

    71Tigs 010 010 000 - 2 6 0WP:Lolich 9IP,5H,1R,8K,4W.
    69Tigs 000 000 100 - 1 5 0LP:McLain 9IP,6H,2R,2ER,5K,2W.
In 1971 Lolich beat McLain in an actual game which I bet he still remembers beating him. Now he can add another game to that list - even if it is just here. Mickey Stanley hit an RBI-single in the fifth for the game deciding shot. The first run scored when Aurelio Rodriguez tripled and then scored on a ground out by Dick McAuliffe. The only run scored by the 69 team came when Stanley singled and eventually scored on Tom Tresh's single

    Forced Rests
    71 Bill Freehan 2 games

    71Tigs 000 010 000 - 1 7 0LP:Niekro 7.3IP,7H,5R,5ER,8K,2W,2HR.
    69Tigs 300 002 00X - 5 7 2WP:Lolich 9Ip,7H,1R,1ER,6K,1HR.
A different Mickey Lolich earns consecutive complete game victories. This time the 69 Lolichwas aided by a three-run homer by Willie Horton and a two-run shot by Norm Cash. The only run recorded by the 71 team was by Dick McAuliffe with a solo shot.

    Forced Rests
    71: Norm Cash 2 games.

Duplicate players? Probably more duplicates than players who played on just one of the two teams. Both teams are 1-1 overall and in conference action.

Hey Dave, just wanted to let you know I have really enjoyed following along with your tourney. While my heart is pulling for the '84 squad I am really rooting for the 1950 club as well.

I just started a replay of the 1978 Tigers team as that was the first team I remember completely. I have faint memories of 1975 and 1976 but 1978 I remember everyone. I was replaying the 1984 season and got about halfway done when my computer went kapoot. I'll probably start posting it at the Table top sports forums sometime this week. I'm about 14 games in right now. Have you seen the Auto play program that Mark Miller wrote? Now I can manually play the Tigers games and auto play the rest. Cool stuff.

Anyways, when is the 1950 squad up again? I'll be looking in from time to time.

    Take care,

    Barry
