Yes, he was a college pitcher so they usually get less time in the minors than high school pitchers.
33rd round pick, but you just never know.

Whitecaps lost but Smith only gave up one run, unearned, in 6 innings. 4 hits, and three walks with 3 strike outs.
He's started the season with 0 earned runs in his first 11 innings. Not too bad.

Still was a nice night in Clearwater despite a LFT lose, the offense seemed to struggle a bit, Sorensen didn't look good at all, but still an enjoyable night.
