Schotts has been back for 6 games now and has started all of them at DH. I guess his finger is still not ok for playing in the field. Throwing? Anybody know anything?

So Balester had to come in and close out the game for a doubleheader win. In the 2nd inning Smyly gives up a 2-run homer to Will Rhymes, hits the next batter and gets ejected along with the manager. Maybe Rondon thought they were lonely in the locker room.

I haven't spoken with anyone but this is what we know. Will Rhymes, who badmouthed the organization homers off of Smyly. Smyly hits the next batter and gets ejected, along with the manager. In the 7th inning, Bruce Rondon throws one pitch to Rhymes and he and the pitching coach get ejected. I wouldn't be surprised if after homering, Rhymes (a) ran his mouth or (b) showed up the Tigers in some way.
