Milb.com has Al Alburquerque starting in Lakeland tonight, and it claims he has a shutout through 7 innings. Is this right?

Double-Al started tonight for Lakeland. I can't believe he's lasted 7 innings (4 hits, 1 BB, no runs). How can they let him go that long on a rehab assignment? He has appeared twice before for Lakeland, going (I think) 1 inning, and 2/3 inning. Could it be a mistake in the box score? Sanz was scheduled to start.

Al-Al pitched only the first inning, and went 1-2-3 with 2 strike outs.

As I've posted before, I've never seen the boxscores of milb.com with so many mistakes. Granted, they eventually correct them (as they did tonight with Double-Al), but this is really getting pathetic.

Al had that same easy look toward the game you see before ST really gets underway. Warm up pitches in the 50's and then not over pitching in the game.

Hopefully he'll be called up soon. He's mostly a 1 ip pitcher in the majors too. I imagine it's the pitch count they are mostly keeping track of, not the ip.

Any word on when my AAT is coming back? I heard he was coming off the DL today and that he and a couple of other pitchers are going to be on low pitch counts.
Brennan is probably going to be making some relief appearances before re-joining the rotation, if he does.

Looks like I get to answer my own question. Brennan pitched in the White Caps game and did very well. 3 innings pitches, no hits, no walks and 4 punch outs.
A good sign with him coming back from a sore arm. Wishing him ALL the best!
