I hope the Tigers got it out of their system today. The starter, Fernando Perez allowed 5 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks in 3.1 innings.

The third pitcher, Yoel Espinal allowed 3 runs, 2 WP, 2 hit batters, 3 hits and 2 walks in 3.0 innings.

Between them there was Jake Sobol, a 36th rounder out of the 2010 draft from Central Michigan. He had some reasonable numbers last year at GCL. They started him at Connecticut this year and he yielded 11 earned runs on 14 hits and 4 walks in 6.1 innings.

Today was his first stint this year at GCL, and he allowed 6 runs on 7 hits and 1 BB in 1 inning. I'm guessing he's not happy with himself right now.
