These next two should be (knock on wood) business as usual for Michigan. #1 teams and tournament winners take care of business, so I'm looking for loads of defense, more defense, and yet even more defense.

You know what that means. Michigan loses one of these games this week.

You've watched what has been happening in college basketball this year, right? Between the trend of potential-new-#1's-and-current-#1's losing very quickly after another top team loses, paired with the conference Michigan is playing in, paired with two tough opponents who aren't upper tier teams and therefore Michigan might overlook them, paired with Purdue being one of the hotter teams in the Big Ten right now...

KleShreen does have a point. Who knows how Michigan will handle the pressure of being tabbed #1. They were given an opportunity against OSU to be the new #1, and played their worst half of basketball all season long. Hopefully that opened the team's eyes on how to approach every game for now on. Don't take Purdue or Illinois lightly. Purdue is decent and winning at Illinois is never the easiest task.

Not a very good first half for Michigan. Right now it's 28-26 Purdue with about 3:30 left. Very sloppy with too many turnovers and they are having issues finishing inside. Purdue is hitting a lot of threes and getting plenty of second chances.

33-32 Purdue at half.

Please take Morgan out. He has no touch around the basket.

McGary is going to end up being the best of the five. Dude's a beast.

Michigan has played a good second half. Up 10 with 4 minutes or so to go.
Close it out strongly.

Up 14 with 2 minutes left. Mcgary has played really well.

Good win. 15 point win looks good against any big ten team. Beat Illinois and number is ours.

...and Morgan's shooting 65.4% so far this big ten season (17/26). With that said, McGary is rightfully eating into his time. Probably more for his defense than offense though.

Down 1 at half, turned it into a 15 point win. Nice

Good game, I think the young guys are starting to learn that they have to bring it each night in the Big Ten. I'd like to see Stauskaus starting getting some calls on those drives though.

The most refreshing part of this game was that for the first time in what seemed like twenty years, Robbie Hummel wasn't on the court. Swear that guy smoked them every time..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe right after he missed those two or three looks near the rim, they brought in McGary who provided a nice spark for the team on both sides of the floor. Morgan is not a bad player, he is just a really streaky player. Sometimes he just needs to take a seat for a moment or two to settle down.
