Hard to believe the son of a former Ohio captain who is rated this high, weighs 235ish and runs a 4.6 doesnt have an offer from Urban Legend. Notable that he is #44 on Rivals but rated in the teens and behind Charlton in the Ohio rankings. Scouts top 300 should be coming out soon.

CB Gareon Conley says he will be making his decision tomorrow. 4 star on Scout. Most likely will be Michigan since he is visiting tomorrow and is leaning toward Michigan.
Also visiting tomorrow are 5 star RB Ty Isaac, 4 star OL Colin McGovern, and 3 star ATH/WR Zach Bradshaw.

Michigan leads with guys like EJ Leavenberry, Ty Isaac and Sra Cravens. They could end up with six or seven 5 stars in this cycle. Stars dont mean everything but Id rather a good coaching staff get them than not.

They will say "We didn't want those kids anyway". But I think that is awesome. Hoke has made Ohio a top priority and whatever he is doing is working. Look at the athletes he has signed. I guess I'll always wonder why RR refused to recruit up here, but then again, people will always wonder why RR did 99% of the sh-t he did.

Not sure what camp he is at today. But Taco Charlton is filling up my Twitter timeline.

Shane Morris still recruiting hard for Michigan football team, California DL Joe Mathis nearly joined 2013 class
Quote from 4* DE Joe Mathis. He has an extremely impressive offer list. USC, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, ND, Nebraska, Oklahoma to name a few.
Joe Mathis - Yahoo! Sports"I was going to (commit) but I said that would be selfish because I didn't see other schools," he said. "Michigan is number one on my list. I don't have a top five, it's Michigan and that's it. I did have a top five with USC but I was like, that's selfish of me because I didn't see other schools. Coming out here, my mom was saying it was going to be too cold out here but this is me. I love the coaches and this is me out here."
Mathis added that the visit was much better than recent unofficial trips to USC and UCLA as well. He'll take in Nebraska in the coming weeks and hinted that the Cornhuskers could be in his top three, which has shifted East quite a bit over the past week. The Michigan coaching staff left a very good impression for the 6-foot-4, 250-pounder this week however and will have others with a tough fight in their hands for the versatile California athlete.

Michigan Wolverines dominate first ESPN 150 rankings - ESPN
Morris should be excited not just by his ranking, but by the fact all five of Michigan's offensive line commits are ranked in the ESPN 150, the highest ranked lineman being David Dawson (Detroit/Cass Tech) at No. 92 overall. Logan Tuley-Tillman (Peoria, Ill./Manual) follows closely behind at No. 97, Chris Fox (Parker, Co./Ponderosa) is at No. 105, Kyle Bosch (Wheaton, Ill./St. Francis) checks in at No. 112 and rounding out the offensive linemen is Patrick Kugler (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny Sr.) at No. 121.
Kugler happens to be the lowest ranked of the 11 that made it in the ESPN 150, which is pretty impressive since he's still 29 spots above the final spot on the list.
Much like the offensive linemen, all of Michigan's defensive backs find themselves on the coveted list as well. What might be a surprise to some fans, cornerback Gareon Conley (Massilon, Ohio/Washington) is the second highest ranked prospect in the class, coming in at No. 63 overall. Conley is also ranked as the sixth best cornerback prospect in the entire country, behind names such as Kendall Fuller (Olney, Md./Good Counsel), Cam Burrows (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood-Madison) and Vernon Hargreaves III (Tampa/Wharton).VT

Disclaimer: MSU fans please pass over this post. Its not meant to start a flame war and is for UM fans eyes only. I will not respond to any attempts to antagonize.
I find it absolutely hilarious that Dantonio offered our walk on long snapper a full ride scholarship. Who offers a HS long snapper a scholarship? Its unheard of. Bet the State fans are calling this a "flip".
Good for the boy and his family though. An education is very expensive. Ive put two children through college.Floooorida? But thats Americas wang.---Homer Simpson

Lloyd Carr
Michigan Daily LinkFew long snappers receive a scholarship out of high school, but Morales was offered one by former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr.
However, he was told it may not be renewed. I have no idea if it was renewed or not.
Edit/Note - I am a Michigan fan.

Poggi is a great pickup for UM. Nice to see them grab another big time DL recruit. With only a few spots left, they can really focus on Treadwell and Green. #1 ranked class!

Long snapper Scott Sypniewki commits to Michigan. He's getting a full scholarship, which has surprised a few people since this is usually a position that doesn't receive too many offers. He is the 21st commit of the 2013 class.

This is a bit of an odd commit, at least timing wise. They only have a few spots left and they seem to be in on a couple of top notch guys. I'd hate to see them have the next longsnapper at the expense of a high end receiver or running back.

I'm guessing McQuay had already told Michigan no. A very tall string bean CB is very interesting, though. It's one of those boom or bust type recruits.

There was all kinds of chatter of an impending commitment over the weekend but nothing happened. Lots of people guessing it was Green. I hear Leon McQuay, 4 star safety, is deciding tomorrow. He recently dropped UM but that was thought to be because of lack of space. With Green not pulling the trigger, it could get interesting.

Sounds like linebacker EJ Levenberry may re-open his recruitment. If you remember, it was down to Michigan, Florida St., and Oklahoma (but I believe Michigan and FSU were his top 2) when he gave a verbal to Florida St. back in April.

Shane Morris could miss the rest of his senior season because he has mono. I'm not sure if he was going to get the starting QB spot next season, but he was in the running in my opinion. This may have a huge impact on who will start next season for Michigan. It's hard to expect a kid coming out of high school to take over as the Michigan QB right away. It's even tougher when he has missed a whole season beforehand.
