Well this would be great news for Michigan fans, and Burke too. Burke can improve his draft stock, to suggest otherwise doesn't make sense to me. If Michigan goes on an elite run next year and Burke is the catalyst he could be a first rounder.
For Michigan fans, well obviously it's great.

Excellent news this will give us some breathing room.
PG going forward:
2012/2013 season you have Burke with Spike filling in for him
2013/2014 season you definitely have Spike back with Walton coming as a freshman and perhaps Burke.
Great news. Team is going to have some depth, quality depth as well, for the first time in Beilein's time at UM.

Woohoo, great news! I think it was definitely in Burke's best interest to come back for at least a year (and hopefully longer).

Finally a kid gets some good advice and decides to stay. Huge for the team next season and really helps with depth moving forward. Great news.

UM may not be done with 2012 class, rumor has it they are interested in one more sg/pg.
Not a bad idea when you look at how close we were to losing Burke this season and if he progresses from this year we will lose him next season. To have Albrecht and another guard with a year of experience when Walton comes in is a good idea.

Caris Levert
Umhoops.com
Michigan might not be done with its 2012 recruiting class just yet. As first reported by Sam Webb, Michigan is showing interest in 2012 Ohio decommit Caris LeVert. LeVert is a 6-foot-5 guard from Pickerington Central that originally signed to Ohio in November but has been released from his letter of intent after former Ohio coach John Groce took the Illinois job.
LeVert led Pickerington Central to the Division I State Championship as a senior and was named second team All-State after averaging over 18 points per game. Purdue, Iowa and Dayton have also expressed interest at this juncture.
Here’s Triple Double Prospects on Levert’s game:
Pure shooter and scorer with deep range and a quick release Caris uses his long frame to get shots off over defenders. Slashing scorer as well that can use the bounce to create shots for himself Levert is capable of having huge scoring games. Is still in the development stages with his body as he is on the thin side but has the athleticism and the length to make up for that at the time being.
