I think DirecTV is going to have more HD games so keep that in mind if you have a HDTV.

I think the old mlb.tv thread is gone, but since there was some similar talk in here:

Is anyone having trouble downloading the MLB.tv NexDef plug-in for the 1.2M videos? I'm getting the following error:

Silverlight error message
Error Code: 2203
Error Type: Runtime Error
Message: AG_E_RUNTIME_SETVALUE
Method Name: Source

I'm using what i'm pretty sure is the newest version of IE, on Vista (with and without UAC activated). If there was a different browser I could use, I would. I emailed their cust service people or whatever, but I don't have a whole lot of faith there.

Well, as mysteriously as it happened, the problem has seemingly been solved. I uninstalled NexDef, then clicked on some link on mlb.com regarding NexDef, and saw a link to the Autobahn service that runs it. Decided to click on it, and downloaded it manually, even though it said it was already installed. Clicked back on the 1.2M link, and got a pop-up blocker-type warning that said "intranet settings are now off..." so I clicked on it, and said "turn on intranet settings". This gave me a warning saying that these settings are less secure than internet settings. Clicked it anyway, and got the video to seemingly play on 1.2M. Crazy. I guess it was just a security issue (of course), but it was like an act of God that caused that task bar to popup, for whatever reason, and told me to turn on intranet settings.

I have to use IE for MTS due to a cookie issue with my OPS. Firefox is the browser of choice for all other applications.

Bump! Didn't want to start a new thread...

Can anyone tell me, on average, how many Tigers games you get per week with Extra Innings? Is it all of them? Or just some?

Are you talking games in HD or don't care? You can pretty much get all of them unless a local station is carrying it, which is probably 30-70 getting it. But those games are few and far between. As far as HD games, most of them are in HD, though if the Red Wings are on, the Tigers usually get bumped in terms of HD coverage.

Does anyone know if DTV is continuing the Super Fan package? I didn't get any information about it when I received the DTV letter about Extra Innings, and it says games will be in HD where available.

If by "Super Fan" you mean upgrading your package to include HD and having the Game Mix channel, I think that's included in the basic package this year:

Excellent! I was hoping that was true. You've made my day!

I wish they would do the same for the NFL Sunday Pass, but that's highly unlikely.
