I am all for throwing jump balls to CJ but a good jump ball allows the receiver to slow and gather himself before going up to get the ball. Hill is not very good at this and it leads to much tougher catches and higher risk of injury.

Bradford has been pretty good before this game, but Suh is making a case that he was the best player in that draft.

What a great weekend for me. Five day weekend with two vacation days and a holiday. Great birthday with my family on Friday. MSU smothers UM for another impressive win. Lions get their first runaway win since Big Baby lumbered for a TD against Denver. Could this weekend get any better?

What? What’s that…? It’s raining GUMDROPS?!?!? YES! YES! YES!!!

I took the Lions to win, as well as the over of 43 1/2 points (which the Lions got themselves, I might add). I'm a happy fan right now

Mayhew's off season additions are doing well. Sims has been good on the OL. Smith is starting to play well in the secondary regardless of Carlton dance. Scheffler has been solid, and Hill has been good as a backup QB. Now that Burlesson is healthy, we've seen a glimpse of hopefully what he can do for the team.

Not to mention Chris Houston, who has shown of signs of being a solid starter. It certainly helps to have a great pass rush. And as far as cornerbacks go, I am also excited about Aaron Berry...really too bad he got injured.

I would agree but I would also say the schedule does not get a whole lot easier, although it will get slightly better just because we have more home games. I think we are better than Buffalo and TB but those are both on the road. IF Stafford comes back and plays strong, I think we will have a shot at winning pretty much any game we have left. Also, I think Levy becomes a crucial player if he can get healthy because while the pass rush is living up to expectations and the secondary is exceeding expectations, the linebackers seem like they are pretty much giving us nothing, except for the occasional good play by Peterson.
