I fear this may be the last Thanksgiving day game in Detroit for a long while.

Wow, Henson is BAD.

Two very poorly thrown balls, and two fumbles that The Lions somehow got back.

Wow, so Henson throws an awful ball.....wounded, wobbly duck.

Then he fumbles two straight plays.

Then a Lions player, whoever the hell #63 is, gets into a shoving match with two Titans and no Lions player steps up to help him.

Then a punt is almost run back for a TD, and the punter starts the tackle.

"Mercifully, two minutes to go in Detroit" says the announcer.

and I saw some players on the Lions sideline kind of joking.........

To be fair to Henson (whose throws did look terrible), those weren't coverage sacks...Those were both instances where the DE ran right past our left tackle and blindsided the guy. The shoving match was Ramirez.

Did you see that run by the THIRD string running back. I would imagine Fisher has told his guys just run it out and they can't even do that.

Wow, that was brutal. As brutal as I thought it could be. Marinelli should be fired immediately. I know that they really don't have much to take over and I know his contract is over anyway, but just to make a point he should be fired.

What point. It would just be another cruel and stupid decison, poorly thought out and executed. Let the guy earn his 0-16. finsish the year with a microspopic dot of dignity and then do the obvious.

John Elway wouldn't have looked any better with the blocking he was given.

The o-line couldn't stop Tennessee's defense at all. Couldn't run the ball and didn't have time to pass. The Lions should have moved to a no-huddle offense at some point. (and a screen pass or two might have been useful)

CJ had a lot of single coverage and they didn't take advantage of his physical dominance over any opposing CB.

Compared with today, the 1980 game with the Bears' Dave Williams returning the kickoff for a touchdown in OT is a warm, happy memory.

This just in - the Lions' defense is the worst in the NFL.

Talk about a glutton for punishment - I went to my mom's for Thanksgiving and planned it so I left right at 12:30 p.m. I listened to the game and knew they were going to lose. Still when I got home I watched the entire game all over again.

God am I an idiot.

It still amazes me when I hear most of the talk for this offseason involving ways we can improve the offense on the radio. Sure we need a QB and an offensive line, but the defense has been the worst in the NFL for a few years now. Let's get a defense before we worry about anything. At least use your first two rounds on those players. Offensive line is acceptable but most of those picks have to go to the defense.

By the way, teams are now averaging 5.1 yards a carry on the ground against the Lions. Barry Sanders averaged 5.0 during his career.

I entertained the thought of deleting a Red Wings playoff game from last year to DVR that debacle. I didn't DVR it by the way, and thanks to those that helped through my period of insanity. Heh.
