Russmatt Baseball 2010 Central Florida Invitational brings you teams from all over the country, representing NCAA Division I, II & III, NAIA, Junior Colleges and High Schools.

RussMatt games will be played at a variety of facilities in Central Florida.  Chain of Lakes Park in Winter Haven (former spring training site of the Cleveland Indians), Lake Myrtle Sports Park, FL. Henley Field (former Tigers major league spring training stadium), Polk Community College, Southeastern University, Webber International University, Warner University, Pat Thomas Stadium and some of the area’s top high school fields.

My Mom and Dad have been following Western Michigan all week and next week will follow CMU, They know players from both teams. I know the fields at Lake Myrtle are very nice. Huey have you ever seen the fields?

In addition to the RussMatt Tournament, fans can also visit Henley Field to see the Florida Southern College "Moccasins" in action. FSC is currently 15-1 and ranked #1 in the NCAA Division II. Game schedule can be found at FSCMocs.com ** Florida Southern College Athletics.

Luckily, both complexes we've been at have power outlets somewhere for me. :) Chain of Lakes is pretty crappy, but the place we were at today (Lake Myrtle) was REALLY nice.

I liked the old Chain of lakes stadium, but never been to their practice fields. Of courde the stadium had deteriorated before the Indians left. At least you have finally found what Florida Winter is supposed to be about.

Eh. Could probably be better. I'm still upset that I'm here as part of the sports information department, with my job being to update our athletics website everyday after games...but we're staying in a condo complex that doesn't have internet at all.
