Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight; my goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. -- Psalm 144:1-2

MLBTR projection is almost always under what the Tigers sign their arb eligible players for. The reason is that their projections is based off of their fair value in comparison to every other player.
They fail to account for the fact that the Tigers pride themselves on not going to arbitration and are willing to pay a little extra to do so.

2013 AAT: Shannon Hogan 6-7-13 featured the most talk-- "She does OK. Plus, I think she's rather cute," "She was hot," and "'And say that she's very cute, and yes I sound like a perv."

I'm not sure what you mean, because most team do this. The number of players that end up going to arbitration each year is pretty small. Though, as I have pointed out in the past, over a period of many years the arbitration system has leaned in management's favor. So I'm not sure why more organizations don't take their players to arbitration
I'm glad Scherzer is resolved now.Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight; my goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. -- Psalm 144:1-2

How many players have gone to arbitration with DD in charge? Any?

DD is a golden god! At least while he holds Mr. I's gold anyway.
O'Brien: What are your feelings towards Big Brother?
Winston Smith: I hate him.
O'Brien: You must love him. It is not enough to obey him. You must love him.

I mean i don't understand why 1 players goes to arbitration. I can't imagine its fun for a player to hear that they don't deserve X dollars because they gave up Y number of hits or only hit Z. Not sure i'd sign an extension when my boss just pointed out all my flaws to save a few bucks.
There are some teams the prefer to go through the arbitration process cause of what you described. But, i don't understand that thinking2013 AAT: Shannon Hogan 6-7-13 featured the most talk-- "She does OK. You also can't compromise. At least, the way it used to be. They would either give the player what he wanted or give him the team offer. Talking down your player really isn't in the best interest of the team, probably why DD doesn't do it.
I'm glad Max was signed. But I really thought they were going to announce a long-term deal for him.2013 AAT: Brennan Smith
