2 of my favorites:
"Ahoy polloi... where did you come from, a scotch ad?"
"So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.""Yeah You're right man...that is enough."

DD Girls are fine too!
But, (or butt?) I do want to shout out a big
Thank You to Bert
for all the GDT he started. Many times I had to leave because it got too negative but I always went back and read them after the Tigers came back to win. I remember a game in Tampa where Inge was struggling at the plate a few years ago. Top of the 9th? He hit a freaking grand slam to win it for us and I got a really good chuckle out of all the posters who were ragging on him all game long. Even if he did deserve it for most of his (too long) Tiger career.2013 AAT: Brennan Smith

Bert,
Thank you so much for ALL of the hard work you put in over the years. The game threads were a great source of enjoyment for me when I had free summers, and I had several great times within the threads with many great posters, and also a fair share of arguments with some others. Both are things that have stuck with me to this day, and things that I will always remember. Even though I did not have as much time to post these past couple of summers, I still read several threads while watching a tape delayed game.
Again, Bert, thanks for all of the hard work! And Yoda, can't wait to see you do some work on these guys again.
