Elia's was the best - but Tommy Lasorda going off on a reporter (after a huge game by Dave Kingman in a Dodgers' loss),

You can make out almost the entire thing. Although most couldn't be typed here.

I love Earl Weaver.Back when the All Star Game was in Detroit, my wife and I were invited to one of the parties. This little old gray haired man cam by and sat next to me for a few minutes, we exchanged a brief hello and that was it. It wasn't until he walked away did I realize who it was.
Might have been a good thing or I would have brought up my love for the 1979 Pirates.“There are only two means of refuge from the miseries of life:
Music and Cats!” Albert Schweitzer

It was still Bradenton. I actually went to see a game there right around that time. I don't remember the exact year, just that it was uncomfortably cold for Florida and I had to wear a winter jacket. I remember Leyland kissing a female fan and also remember seeing him talking to Bonds somewhat sternly (although it wasn't the same as the video).

"They can use both (old- and new-school statistics)," Cabrera said. "In 2012, we've got to take advantage of all that.
