Looks like they have been in Bradenton since 1969.

Can you imagine any manager nowadays attacking the fans that way in the media? He'd be fired the next day.

And on the Leyland video, good thing that was pre-steroid Bonds. Otherwise "roidrage" might've kicked in and Leyland would now be dead.

I love Earl Weaver.Back when the All Star Game was in Detroit, my wife and I were invited to one of the parties. This little old gray haired man cam by and sat next to me for a few minutes, we exchanged a brief hello and that was it. It wasn't until he walked away did I realize who it was.

Might have been a good thing or I would have brought up my love for the 1979 Pirates.

It was still Bradenton. I actually went to see a game there right around that time. I don't remember the exact year, just that it was uncomfortably cold for Florida and I had to wear a winter jacket. I remember Leyland kissing a female fan and also remember seeing him talking to Bonds somewhat sternly (although it wasn't the same as the video).
