    Default Season ticket question

My buddy and I are looking to split a season ticket package. Unfortunately, neither of us will be able to attend opening day. I was wondering how much an opening day ticket would sell for either through this site or stubhub. It would be upper box infield, very decent row. Currently on second market sites they are listed around $150.00. Is this an accurate assessment?

Keep in mind if they are still "listed" for $150, that means they haven't sold them at $150.

If you use stubhub and go through the motions as if you were going to list tickets, without actually listing them, it will show you what tickets have already sold for. When you get to the screen where you set a price, it will let you compare to what tickets in the same area have already sold for. This will give you a general idea.

Thanks for the stubhub trick. It worked well.

I doubt there are many Opening Day tickets selling yet through sites like StubHub though. After individual game tickets go on sale and people realize that they aren't going to get seats for face value, then seats will likely start to sell on StubHub. Looking at the ticket prices on StubHub, they seem pretty normal for Opening Day...especially one that will have a lot more hype than usual.

You definitely want to have them on StubHub by March 3rd. When people get shut out of high demand events the day the tickets go onsale they get desperate.
