Look, this is too huge. I'm not believing this until I see the press release, or Dave Dombrowski confirms while wearing something striped.
But if it is true.......

Wow... I so ready to jump in here with my moderator beat-you-up stick and shut down this joke thread... but wow, if it's real?
Pardon the pun here but... who's the better fielder between the two guys? I think Cabrera's improved a lot lately. How good is Prince?

I can't see it. That means either Fielder or Cabrera are full time DH's and I just don't think either would go for that.

This is being reported by almost ever legitimate sports writer/talking head on twitter. It just seems so unlikely.

The Tigers have agreed to sign Prince Fielder to a nine-year, $214MM contract Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports on Twitter. The agreement will keep Fielder in the Motor City through his age 36 season for an average annual value of $23.78MM.
The 27-year-old first baseman will join Miguel Cabrera in the middle of the Tigers' order to create more than enough offense to make up for the loss of Victor Martinez.
Though the market for Fielder seemed far from robust at times this offseason agent Scott Boras has found an unexpected suitor once again. Yahoo's Tim Brown first reported that the sides were close to a deal.
this is reported on MLB Rumors.comIn loving memory of Monica Burcar & Richard Lashbrook
